The service was terrible for the matting and framing desk. I had to wait thirty minutes before I was served. Also, when I was finally served, I felt like the attendee was insulting me. I needed a simple white matting for one of my pictures (larger than the pre-cut sizes), but he told me that they were not staffed for mat-cutting and that they would need to send it down to Texas to get it matted. How many Michaels employees does it take to cut a piece of paper?

Horrible Michaels to shop at, I do not recommend this. Store items may have wrong price tags and they try to sell you it at a higher price than what the tag says. The cashiers are nice and helpful but the price checkers make a big deal over something they mis-priced and Illinois law states you pay the price as it was displayed as. I will not be going back here.
