Ive been a Visionworks customer for many years in different states where Ive lived, and their customer service spirit is exceptional. The staff, manager, and doctors are extremely welcoming and friendly. Having said that, never have I had more trouble with finalizing payment for glasses than with the Fairview Heights store. My credit card was charged three times for my daughters glasses (and they were NOT cheap by the way.) The sales person helping me said she was having trouble running my card and kept swiping it (and assured me that multiple charges would not take place.) Well, my card was charge three times. I discovered this when I went to the grocery store later that day and HAD NO MONEY! My conversation with the managers at the Fairview Heights store about these multiple charges was frustrating because they kept blaming a"computer issue." Visionworks, from what I could understand from the managers I spoke with, has to work with another payment processing site to process payments and the managers kept telling me the problem was with a "computer issue." I believe the problem was with the salesperson swiping my card multiple times... and the computer will process whatever you enter into it! Eventually the two extra payments were refunded. IF, and thats a BIG IF, I ever return to Visionworks... Ill bring cash.

Waste of time and money!!!! I went to Visionworks to replace my lenses in my glasses with my current prescription. Over a series of a few weeks, every time I wore those glasses, my eyes hurt and I got bad migraines. As if it wasnt the right prescription. I even went to multiple doctors who told me nothing is wrong with my eyes. So I went back to Visionworks and explained that I could tell a difference between the lenses I purchased from them and a separate pair of glasses with the same prescription, filled elsewhere. They said they ran some tests and found the 2 pairs to be identical in prescription and distance. When I said they must be mistaken, they argued with me. I then asked if I could just get a refund for those lenses since theyre now useless. Thats when she told me in the process of this testing, she broke my frames. Her response was "Oops. Nothing we can do about it." So not only were my lenses wrong, but now I have a broken (expensive) pair of glasses. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN.

EVERYTIME my husband goes here, or I even call to refill a prescription, they make it impossible. The staff is clueless and must double check everything they do with someone else. The price is outrageous, they lose your orders, or they ALWAYS have trouble processing your payments. The only thing keeping us at vision works is the fact we cant get into another eye doctor right away and VISION WORKS REFUSES TO GIVE US HIS PRESCRIPTION INFORMATION that way they insure we are stuck dealing with their awful customer service and outrageous prices.

bunch of IDIOTS!!!! came in for an eye exam and was told that its a 15 minute wait and i didnt need an appointment. i waited 45 minutes and come to find out they forgot all about me and they didnt do anything about it except ask me if i wanted to make an appointment for another day. do not come here they have a bunch of incompetent people working there. this establishment should just go out of business

They can not fill most prescriptions properly they are a bunch of Idiots it took them six weeks to fill a prescription in their so call high index lens and when i got it there no difference between the High index and the mid index lens Now i m off to see the professionals at Pearl STAY Away from Vision works in Snellville

I went to Americas Best because they had a promotional offer. It was a totally let down. I regretted that I tried somewhere new when all a long I had the best. Vision works has never disappointed me and they provide excellent services. They are sometimes very busy casing wait times but other then that , great in my opinion.

The staff was very nice. But the 2 hour wait was not. Made an appointment for 12:30. Showed up at 12.35 didnt see a doctor until 2:21. Was told the doctor got behind with ONE patient. We will be going elsewhere in the future.

This is a new visionworks for the Fairview Heights area, I have visited them in other states but this place is wonderful. The staff is friendly and tries to help in all my areas of need.
