The staff at SEE was incredibly helpful with my new glasses. There were tons of frames to pick from - a lot of distinctive styles, nothing boring or flimsy here. I also liked that each frame is offered in several colors so there is no disappointment when the perfect shape frame isnt the right color. Teressa shared her recommendations and opinions without being pushy, which really helped me feel comfortable. I had a prescription from another optometrist, so I cant comment on their exams. But Sean really made sure I was satisfied with the fit before I left - again, very patient with how picky I am. Overall, I loved the selection and I was floored by the service. I think the cost of the product was comparable to the mall optometrists - sure, you could find cheaper glasses, but you wouldnt get the quality and selection you find at SEE. The service is the icing on the cake. Thanks, SEE!

I had an exam and purchased two pair of glasses from SEE on State Street; the experience was great. From the sales floor to the examination room, the staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable. I wouldve given five stars if it were not for the horrible customer service at their headquarters. I called the 866-number multiple times and left voicemails and still havent heard back (five days later). I patched through to another department and was told that customer service is just one guy. So, if you have questions just save yourself the headache and go into the local store.

As soon as they realize that you might not be buying anything, they treat you like crap. Ive gone in the store a few times, and every single time there is one extremely rude employee who will follow me around the store as if you are going to steal something, or break something. He reluctantly would ask me what I was looking for, and when I tell him my specific needs, he just shrugs and says "the ones you are wearing are fine, I guess." Other employees have been polite enough, but I am tired of being watched closely and not being treated like a valued customer.
