I gave my ps3 slim exactly 1 week ago for repairs. I got a call in the middle of the week from their technician that the laser reader needed to be replaced and it will cost me $90 overall. I mulled over just buying a new ps3 which is just $175 on amazon as in time of this writing. But the technician assured me all that is wrong with the ps3 is the laser reader and its a better deal than buying a new ps3. I thought so too and gave the go-ahead to fix it. Just got it back yesterday and first thing I do is pop in madden 17 and it freezes 15 mins in while im playing. Im very dissapointed I waisted $90. Im gonna go and let them know whats going on. They have a 30 day warranty. Hopefully they refund me the $$. If not, I will bring down my rating from 1 to 0. The only reason im giving a 1 rating is because theyre staff is extremely curteous and kind. So far back in the game has been a major MAJOR let down!! **I will write an updated statement about how my issue is dealt with soon. Thanks.

I had almost the same experience as the other reviewer. I came to this place because they offer some of the better prices. however i took my first phone to get repaired there, and noticed that the screen felt cheap and lose. I asked them about it, and they blamed it on my frame. so i fell for it. A buddy of mine had his phone crack as well so I sent him there and they gave it back with the camera not working. We asked about it and they said that there was no proof the camera ever worked. so they messed up the camera and couldnt back it up. Once again these guys somehow convinced me to purchase a new camera replacement from them. and you can tell that it is no where near the original quality. Horrible experience there. Please save yourself the trouble. it Definitely isnt worth the lower price. you really do get what you pay for there.

Ive had two systems fixed here with good success. And turn around is pretty good, so if your a game hunter snagging bargain systems at goodwills, flee markets and other assorted thrift stores and live on the south side. This store is your best next step if you can get that system on the cheap and it doesnt work. However my only gripe which keeps me from giving them all stars is that when I ask them about just replacing the capacitors on my old game gear they instead offer me petty cash when Im willing to have it repaired wether it works or not! Im not parting with a system than can be repaired guys! Take the chance at least and you will get that last star from me.

The staff here is really, REALLY nice. Even over the phone. Their prices on used games are not over priced and are competitive with those found online elsewhere. Their retro selection is good, prices are... questionable but hey, someone might buy Super Mario 64 for $50 right?!?!... *crickets* They also tried telling me that PS3 component cables didnt work on PS2 consoles, they were convinced about that, when actually that is incorrect. PS3 component cables do work on PS2. Not sure theyre knowledgeable with what they sell but their prices are ok.

I had my phones touch and LCD screen fixed here, and all they did was mess it up even more. I was told that they werent going to turn my phone on at all, they lied. First time, I got my phone back with another cracked touch screen and I couldnt connect to my flashlight nor my camera. Second time, I got it back with a new screen but my phone spazzes out every time I go on any apps. NEVER will I EVER take any of my other electronics here to be fixed. Other than that, they have an okay but poor selection of retro games.

Employees were nice but WOW WAY WAY OVER PRICED VINTAGE GAMES!!!!! I SEE THE SAME GAMES AND accessories at other places in a 30mile area and half the price like the Genesis portable thats new came out few months ago the want almost 80$ TOYS R US $44!!!!!!!! Im not trying to be a cheap person but the pricing come on wont recommend and Ill never go back and I will be passing on to all my Facebook retro friends no go for this place

I am also happy with the customer service I was given because they helped me with any problems and questions that I had. Just bought an Xbox arcade the other day, have all my old 360 games and hard drive for it wanted to get back on it and play. Just plugged it in for the first time and it has the red ring of death... but because of this review was told to come in get a new Xbox and a free game the day after I posted this.. very happy now.

Best place to get video games. I love to come in and take my time. Play some games from my childhood and relax. The staff is super helpful. I stopped going to gamestop. This is a family owned business and they need support. They also have better prices than most places.

Tried to sell me a $69.99 Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for $89.99 claiming that I was the MSRP and that its because theyre hard to find. Just bought one at the Best Buy for the actual market price. Rip off. Go somewhere else.
