I use to go to general dollar in memphis tn.I love the prices and I really like general dollar.I was there on thrusday september 25th and I was surprised to realize when I got to the register they could not print me a receipt due to the fact they had ran out of paper.That is unacceptable must be a mananger problem.I have never heard of that before and if I had noticted the sign when I came in informing me that they were not giving out receipts that day I would have put my shopping off fo a later day.I am giving them three stars because they can do a lot better.

the manager try to manipulate stories when people do returning staff saying you need a resit to get refund to you can change an open electronic box to you can only get store credit for a refund to you need to exchange with other items to "we dont have a store credit" and I got her ass so badly that she couldnt reply anything to my question cause shes a liar. if you are buying any non item food wouldnt recommend you to go to this store cause there is no guarantee of exchange and return.

busy location..but prices are good. Please hire people who are properly trained in good customer service. I bought ice and the rep they called to unlock the freezer outside decided she should check more people out before completing my order..I was not a happy camper to be waiting longer.

As far as discount stores goes, this is one of the better ones. The staff smiled, asked if I needed assistance. The aisles were uncluttered, the shelves were orderly. I came in for one item, left with two and still paid less than Wal-Mart.

Has 3 Cash register but only use 2 and when its busy there are only 2 register running not 3. And having the 3rd register running helps to get customers out the door faster
