Technician working on 8/30 at 3:40pm was extremely rude and NOT empathetic. We have a guest who is diabetic from Australia here who accidentally left the insulin behind. I called to see if CVS could provide emergency fill for insulin while he looks for a doctor to get a prescription. She repeatedly tells me "You dont understand we need a prescription, we need a prescription.." without acknowledging the situation we are in and offering to help find a way and just consistently telling us no. After bringing up that there is a pharmacy law re: emergency fill for life-threatening condition, she decided to talk to the pharmacist. After speaking with the pharmacist, she became much nicer and said there is OTC insulin available but their store is out. However, she followed up with "you didnt ask if there are OTC insulin so obviously I didnt know". HOW IS A CUSTOMER SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS! i would hate to see someone like her working in healthcare as she is extremely not empathetic towards patients and customers. I hope the managing pharmacist take some time to teach her how to speak to customers. Thank you.

They have what i need. Its conveniently located. And the pharmacists are warm, friendly and helpful. I used to use the CVS in River North up until my office moved out of the area just recently, so Im sad I have to say good bye to 4 years of the great staff there at CVS, scooping up my drugs and helping me with the medication coupons i get from big Pharma. As i read these reviews, it seems the most frustrated of you seem to be frustrated with technology as well. The experience is what you make of it.

Its a typical CVS in that its dirtier and more run-down than pretty much any Walgreens Ive been to, but the pharmacy staff are great. Ive been here many times to pick up prescriptions...thanks for your help and friendliness. Theres also a friendly woman at the front of the store whos helpful as well. The panhandlers are not as consistent or aggressive as downtown, but theyre still there at times.

Horrible store, prices, managers and employees except for marguerita. She is the best. The store manager Lawrence I believe his name was, is a complete condescending ass. He approached me with fake smiles and attitude and really was of no assistance. Thanks to having reoccurring issues with CVS I am now taking my business to Walgreens. I will never give CVS another penny from my pocket.

We only had bad customer experiences at this location. Beautiful store in the nicest neighborhood, but the customer is definately not king here. Ive seen how customers were treated badly by manager/owner at the photo counter and my wife and I have received bad service from the phamasists plenty of times. If in your power, Id suggest fill your prescription elsewhere...

Insurance company screwed up my insurance enrollment status so that I can not apply insurance benefit to my prescription. A manager helped me to talk to the customer service of the insurance company over the phone for almost one hour and finally solved the problem. Super excellent service!!

My experience with the lady getting phone calls at the pharmacy was not pleasant. It felt like she really really wanted to hung up the call, and every sentence she spoke she started with "again!" which was kind of rude.

This is the worst managed CVS Ive ever shopped. It never has the items which I need, the pharmacy line for pickup is very lengthy, and finding an employee is virtually impossible. They do try hard, however.

Its fine for a CVS. You can generally get what you need. The greeters can be super pushy and the pharmacy counter/waiting area could use three times the space.

Relied on this review for the hours - went at 6:45 PM. Pharmacy was closed. Didnt get a vital prescription this evening.
