This is our first time travel in Chicago, we are from North Carolina. Since it was about 9:30 pm and still Christmas time, we have very limited choices, so we went to CVS to get some food. When we were trying to pay, we got confused about things like when to put the things we want to buy, where to insert money…then this woman who works at CVS( she has thick, bush eyebrows and dark hair to the length of her neck, Ill never forget), she never came up to help, but stood behind us and got impatient. What makes me really depressed is, when I asked her politely where to insert money, she was standing behind my husband, my husband stepped back to let her help and she gave my husband a dirty and rude look which I happened to see. We felt so depressed really. We have stayed in America for two years, people are so nice and kind, however, this lady who works at this CVS, she made us feel so terrible with her mean and rude attitude. Its Christmas time for gods sake. We just wanted to cry.

Walked into the store to wait for my friend that was coming to pick me up. Meanwhile I decided to look at some books, thay had by pharmacy . In about 3 minutes this overweight man comes to me (happened to be a manager) and tells me that I have to leave !!! I replied that I entitled to look at the product and why he is so sure that Im not gonna buy anything? He told me that I have to leave, again!!! I wouldnt buy from that store even if Id be dying from hunger or thirst !!!! What is going on with these people? Are you allowed to be ignorant f***k and manager at the same time? What is corporate office doing? Or private owners? Anyway that round creature wished me a nice day!!!...at 9:40pm...!!! What is customer service? Duh....

I was not a fan of this place but I have changed over the years. CVS took all there human cashiers away and went to self check out computers. It is fine if you know what you are doing but it was a nightmare for me to stand behind someone who had no idea what they were doing. It has gotten better over the years and people can checkout faster then before. I have had to accepted the change and I have moved forward. This location has food, alcohol, makeup, first aid, deodorant, water and a pharmacy to name a few things. Make sure you check your blood pressure before standing in line behind an inexperienced checkout person. You want to make sure you are good and calm.

If you are looking for a pharmacy that is open after work hours look no further. They are open till 10 PM on weekdays! They also have a drive through pharmacy which is rare. They also have a large beer selection, and is frankly just a large CVS overall. Good location right off the blue line, and staff is helpful and consistent.

The manager and one other employee were parked in handicapped spots. I brought this to their attention and they said, "we work here". When I took a picture of their plates they came out and yelled at me. Never coming back here again.

The CVS sign is confusing. It says CVS 24 hour/ Pharmacy. Do not be fooled into thinking that you can get a prescription filled past 9PM on weekdays...or whatever there standard hours are.

The people who mindlessly man the pharamacy counter are incompetent at best. I waited here for half an hour today so I could get cold medicine. Im writing this review as I continue to wait in line.

This place is a god-send at 2am when you need sustenance. Interesting people watching at that hour too. Tight parking lot, busy streets.

Very convenient but a bit over priced but understandingly . You would do your grocery shopping here. 24 hours is what got them 5 stars.
