DONT GO TO COURTNEY FOR GROOMING!!!! Before I took my dog in, I spoke with Courtney on the phone and she tried to assure me that I had nothing to worry about because she has 2 years grooming experience. After taking her in, I later get a phone call from her about my dogs FEET being matted and she would have to cut some parts out. I didnt mind it and told her to go ahead and cut the mats out the feet. When I went to pick her up, my miniature Schnauzers face was cut off and very patchy. I told her that her face was shorter than normal, and Courtney then said that she was matted in her face...so Im JUST NOW hearing about this! I called later and requested that Courtney no longer work on my dog, because I thought her way of grooming was lazy and she failed to properly communicate to me any other issues with my dog before proceeding to cut on her face. Courtney then, CALLED ME BACK and started arguing with me, and blaming me about my dog after I told her how I felt about the whole grooming experience. Instead of understanding where I came from, she was very combative and told me how she doesnt appreciate me saying how her grooming style was lazy. I told her that as a paying customer Im voicing my opinion on how she went about neglecting to tell me that my dogs face was matted and I come in to this. She proceeded to blame me again saying I didnt brush my dog and put her personal feelings in it. I refused to speak further with her and requested to speak with a manager. Of course Courtney told her side of the story first to the manager (Alyssa) so she could have some sort of biased opinion before speaking to me. But what Courtney left out is that SHE CALLED ME and started arguing with me about the job she did on my dog. I come to this grooming salon regularly and never had an issue with my dog. She may have had a few matted areas, but the other groomers had no problems brushing them out to the point where she kept her facial hair. This is the first time I dealt with such disrespect and lack of communication from a groomer at this particular location. It wasnt about harming my dog. Courtneys grooming is very lazy, so go to her at your own risk! Having two years experience means absolutely nothing when it comes to her. Those types are usually the worst ones who cant take constructive criticism and dont care to learn anything new. This girl is stuck in her ways when it comes to grooming and it will never be her fault if youre not satisfied with her results. Plus shell be the one to CALL YOU and give you a piece of her mind if youre not happy. Best of luck to this PetSmart with her on board!!!

Pet hotel/daycamp is TERRIBLE.Dropped our dog off at doggy day camp, and got a call two hours later that there had been "an incident" and our dog had been rushed into emergency surgery to have her leg stapled close. Petsmart wouldnt/couldnt/didnt know what happened to her until i got to the store and found my pup fully sedated after surgery. They said she slipped and her leg was sliced open on a cage. They claimed responsibility and paid for all the medical bills, but refused to give us anything in writing about what happened or their promise to pay the $500+ in bills ("youll have to contact Petsmart lawyers". next time we returned we were asked to sign a new contract. The woman working the desk flipped the paper over saying "sign here" (shady!). We asked what it was and she said new contract because some things had changed. We asked what changed and she could not explain what changed/didnt know. So I stepped aside to read the contract and here is what changed... there is a new clause that fully releases petsmart from ALL liabililty. So if this accident were to happen again due to faulty equipment on their end, negligence, etc we would be now be responsible for the bill. I asked her what that means in cases where an accident is their fault (like last time). She said "those accidents are looked ar on a case by case basis".... yeah, thats not how contracts work. Very shady. We wont be back.

Very disappointed in the management of the pet hotel. I have been taking my dog here twice a week for the last six months. I have a general complaint on the unaccountability of the activities there. For instance, there is no confirmation of how many times the dogs have been fed, if at all, and I only receive an end of day report card about half the time. They seem constantly understaffed and overwhelmed. My main complaint is a recent incident. My dog is still a puppy and very energetic/excitable. Has never been involved in any incidents with other dogs, but loves to play. Apparently this energy is too much for the staff to handle as I received a phone call saying my dog would be caged all day and not allowed to play with other dogs anymore at all. For six months, twice a week, I brought my dog there and heard nothing but good things from the staff. Then all of a sudden my dog is banished from playing?!?! The management basically admitted that their facility is not big enough to deal with my dogs energy, so if you have a mid sized relatively energetic dog, I dont recommend this establishment. It seems they want low energy lap dogs only.

How do you run a business with rude employees dealing with the customer? I am the customer and my dog is your client. Focus on the dog. My small pet vomitted, from anxiety like I said she may, a while back and they called me in the middle of the day while at work. They called me to come pick my pet up and take him next door to Banfield Animal Hospital. For Vomitting... After racking up more bills at the Hospital and them giving her a clean bill of health, they wouldnt finish grooming my dog. So after all of this, I left with a half-groomed dog with vomit on her. Thanks PetSmart Aurora, I will NEVER set foot even into that location, and will never get my pets groomed at PetSmart again. 0 Stars

Be careful whos staffed that day. Shopped here consistently for feline kidney food on my way home from work. I should have known this day would be different. Walked in and no baskets. Clerk on the floor says we store them in the back. Since when? They have always been at the front door. Just ignorant. Stocked up on different flavors of feline kidney food as I have ALWAYS done. The script card works for them all. Or always have in the past. Not with this crew. And when I began to explain how it always is, I was rudely interrupted. Im done with this place. Mail order, here I come.

I got my golden doodle groomed there. They left matts and was not fully brushed out. I also had my min schnauzer there at the same time. He had hair that was not even cut in spot. We nicked named him patches for the time being. The bill was 125.00. I got riped off if you ask me. It sickest me to know that they can charge so high but not even try to do a good job. I even told the groomer and she cut 2 matts out and said there, like I was wasting her time. It is not cool to take advantage of people and con them out of there hard working money. Date 9/15/2015
