Ive dealt with numerous pawn brokers and gold buyers, and I can say with certainty that Pawn in Private is the best. I recently underwent a large move into a new house. With this process came the tedious task of sorting through all of my belongings, including all of my jewelry that had accumulated throughout the years. I went to several different places before I stopped by Pawn in Private. The two gentlemen who run this shop are nothing short of lovely. They are extremely cordial and professional, and they have QUITE magnetic personalities :) Needless to say, Ive gone back several times since. They are always high-spirited and eager to please at Pawn in Private. They definitely have an awesome sense of humor, along with a very noticeable level of expertise in their field. Overall, they make me feel comfortable and informed, and they never failed to give me the best offers on my stuff. Pawn In Private gets an A++ in my book. I HIGHLY recommend this shop!!!

Finally a legitimate pawn shop that opened up in the Northwest Suburbs that can easily blow their competitors due to their ease of doing business with customers! I have been there a few times to get an appraisal on an engagement diamond ring and other merchandise. Not only did they give me better prices then other pawn shops and gold and diamond buyers, but they advised me with their expertise on how to proceed with selling my merchandise for even more money. The people working there are truly real business men that dont rush you into buying or selling an item which makes the atmosphere real relaxed for an average consumer like me. Honestly, I dont think I will use E bay again to sell my items anymore since I can get the same or even better price with the help of this shop! Their choice of electronics is outstanding especially on laptops, and smart TVs with affordable and negotiable prices the people can actually afford!

My neighbor purchased for his wifes birthday a beautiful 3 stone 1/2 carat diamond white gold ring. My wife was giving me a hard time about not getting her any expensive jewelry gifts so I asked my neighbor about the ring. I was in awe when I heard how much he had paid for it. The ring was priced well below retail "on sale" prices. On top of that, this ring shines so beautifully. I dont know what was more surprising, the amount that he had paid for the ring, or the fact that he had purchased it from a pawn shop. I honestly did not believe him and went to the pawn shop to see for myself. I couldnt believe the prices of their jewelry. The diamond rings are not placed in plated gold or stainless steel either, instead its PURE gold!!! I had purchased a set of diamond earrings for my wife and have found my new jeweler.

My daughter told me about her pleasant experience with this pawn place and I decided to check it out for myself as I had some old broken jewelry that I did not need anymore. The gentlemen working there were polite and seemingly honest, not pressuring me in any manner to sell my jewelry. They actually told me that it may not be the best time to sell gold, as the market price dropped by over $300 in the past week. They also told me about the online alternatives I had for selling my stuff, such as Ebay and Amazon. I did not want to go through that hassle, especially because my jewelry was broken and definitely did not have patience to wait for the price of gold to go back up. I sold there for cash, and actually received more than I expected for some old jewelry without any use.

Ive been coming here since theyve opened in 2012. Two very nice gentlemen run the store. They are very polite and sincere and always helpful. They seem very knowledgeable on purchasing and selling all of their products, especially gold and silver. The store has a wide variety of products including jewelry and watches which i was interested in. I got a very good deal on a MK watch and got to negotiate the price. I would absolutely recommend coming here to sell, pawn, or purchase valuables. The location is also very accessible. The only negative point I would make is the store is fairly small, and last time i came in I had to wait for fifteen minutes to be helped because of the line ahead of me and only two store owners to help. Maybe they should hire more staff.

My favorite Pawn shop--the guys here are very nice an knowledgeable. Great customer service and patient--not your pushy typical pawn shop atmosphere and they do not sell junk. They have great things for sale--I tend to always buy something every time I visit. I just bought a great Bang & Olufsen wireless speaker system came with its original box and looked new--the guys gave me a great deal. I am super satisfied in all my purchases. I highly recommend Pawn in Private. The last time I was there (last week) they had a lot of high end stuff for super competitive prices--they sell Apple products, Beats, Bose, Louis Vuitton bags, Tiffanys: their inventory changes so you never know what you will find and when you browse they even offer you a can of pop.

I have come into Pawn In Private several times when I am looking to sell some items. I have been to a few shops before, but none like this. The friendly atmosphere, the clenliness of the shop, and above all the wonderful guys running the shop. They have a great range of merchandise, as well as offer by far the best prices when selling an item. When you come into this Store, you will be amazed at how friendly they are. If you are searching for a pawn shop, look no further as this is no doubt the best in the area. I will gladly come back to check what new inventory is in, or if i am cleaning out some clutter in the house. EXCELLENT!!!!!

I was blown away by the layout of this pawn shop. While other pawn shops are poorly lit and appear suspicious, this location is far from that. The layout is very clean and upscale. Aside from that, the staff members were professional, helpful and very hospitable offering me a complimentary drink, never had that experience before. Shopping around for a macbook is what brought me to the pawn shop. Unfortunately they did not have one for sale at the time of my visit, but they did add me to their list of wanted electronics. I had a great overall experience and would highly reccommend others to come and see for themselves.

They have always been friendly and very professional and will give you the best prices.
