im not really sure how this place has so many "Good Reviews" they all seem loosely the same (just saying) ive been forced due to long distance commute to work and biweekly paychecks to need to come up quickly on 20-30 dollars here and there and this place the villa park one* is terrible. theyre prices are high and offers are absolutely insanley low ive broughten in a new electronic that i paid $200+ for an they wouldnt even loan me 25 dollars and their sources for getting prices are always google used lowest price and not selling so they can lowball you and sell your things for 5 times what they paid for it was a week old so they couldnt say it was outdated or in bad condition they literally look at your stuff in a desperate hope to find ANY LITTLE SCRATCH OR CRACK to screw you another 50% down anyway basically insult prices and this wasnt one occasion this is 10+ times and each time i was screwed i just grabbed it and left and i wish they also knew no one cared about the lame "Christmas in july layaway" they think theyre so clever "oh whooopie i can pay you now and you dont gotta give me anything for 6 Months!!!" avoid this place i got a different pawnshop now that offers you 50% of what they sell it for and actually cares about building relationships with customers and im not gunna say the name of it cause i dont want these freaks to think im just the competion -kevin smith

Ive been to many different pawn stores, and this pawn store is by far the best. There are great priced items and I was blown away at the selection of low priced valuable accessories from game systems to jewelry and fancy watches such as movado and Rolex brands. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an object for that special someone or a power tool for us guys, or if you are looking to make a quick buck this place has a lower APR than most competitive pawn stores which means it wont cost as much to either hold on to thee pawned object or to pick it up compared to other pawn stores. The manager Owais Bokhari aka Wes has helped me out tramendiously throughout the years, he is fair and will help anyone who walks in the store. The have yearly discounts and special offers for holidays. I highly recommend this place to everyone even to those who dont need to pawn something they have a multitude of cool things that will catch anyones eye. :)!

FIRST TIMER - I had never pawned anything before, and was clueless on how it worked, etc. From my first phone call back in 2012 up until I redeemed my loans (I ended up having FIVE different loans - I was that pleased with the value and service) and picked up my stuff yesterday, the staff at S&K has ALWAYS been courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Of particular importance to me was the service and courtesy when it came to my loan payments, often calling ME to remind me when a payment was due, so I could avoid defaulting and losing my stuff...and when I was going through a difficult time, Ford (owner) and Wes (manager) worked with me to help me stay current with my loans. I appreciated that more than I can say. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to keep looking - CALL S&K TODAY!

Last week my laptop died on me and needed one immediately, searching for a used one I saw one listed by Sterling & Knight, so I called them, in there add they had by mistake listed that laptop for $100 less inside with the description than what is on the title. I mentioned the lower price which is different that what is on the title, he acknowledged the mistake and was able go down to the lower price, he also said take it you have 7 days if you dont like it we will take it back. I was happy to hear that, since it is a used and not sure if I will like it or not. Their service and honesty and commitment was above what I have expected. The laptop exceeded my expectations, Thank you Sterling & Knight and keep up the good work

I first came to this pawn shop for a loan about four months ago. I just started a new job and have occasionally had to supplement my income with loans from them to cover my expenses. Even though the price of silver has dropped significantly since I first pawned my belongings at Sterling and Knight they have a loan amount guarantee that ensures I will get as much as I did the first time I pawned the items or more depending on market value of said items. The staff is always professional and polite and after the first visit when I needed to give them my information, I have been able to get in and out and take care of business in a very short amount of time. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of extra cash.

I came into the Villa Park, IL location, with the notion that I was going to get ripped off for my jewelry loan. I called ahead to see what options I had, I spoke with Jay who was nice and very informative. I decided to go in and see what I would be offered for my ring. I worked with Jay again he was nice and professional while I was in the shop. Very quick service no hassles about price, while waiting on my offer I glanced around the shop which had a lot of tvs, pcs, laptops, tablets jewelry etc, very nice and reasonably priced. I will return to do business with this company based on a great 1st time experience!!!

I have had nothing but great experiences with this location. They ALWAYS do their best to help me every time I come in. They have very reasonable rates and one of the best selections of inventory. No matter what you are looking for they have it or can get it for you. Convenient layaway plans as well. Very trustworthy staff, and treat all their customers and their property with respect and care. I wouldnt trust my items to anyone else. I have used them for many years and will not go ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

As the economy is changing I got into financial trouble when my husband lost his job, I took some Jewelry to Sterling & Knight in Villa Park and they gave an excellent loan to help me through this hardship. I love their customer service and they have great prices in their inventory. You can go to other pawn shops but no one has better prices than Sterling and Knight in Villa Park I strongly recommend for you to visit and check out their inventory or go in and get a loan. The service was very good and fair. I was welcomed as soon as I walked into the store and they made the transaction very personal and fair. I was worried that I would be embarrassed or pushed to get less than I needed. They worked with me to reach an agreement and they were very kind. The only reason I gave a 2 for Appeal is that it was a little intimidating going into a store with a door bell. I totally understand but I just was not used to it.

I have been coming to this pawn shop for more than 2 years and I have always had tremendous service. Every employee that works there is always pleasant, helpful and courteous. They always give you their upmost attention and breakdown any layaway and pawn process to make your experience better.
