Great prices on tools with no hassle warranty on most. Ive always had good service as well. Harbor Freight manufacturers most of their own tools which is why the prices are so low when compared with other places. Not all tools are created equal though so be aware of what your buying and be smart about it.

Harbor freight has fantastic prices on tools and small items like batteries, packages of screws and washers, and dont forget to use their coupons for free items such as screw drivers, tapemeasures, ect.

I have had good luck for the most part. As far as buying name brand, even Craftsman tools are made in China now. For the typical diy person these tools get the job done.
