I love practicing localism. I love being able to fund my hard earned money into the business around me, which in turn supports the local community. I refuse to spend my money at establishments where the service is crappy, unfriendly i.e. talking on the phone while checking you out, or behaving like helping is to much work. This place is NOT that place. Thank you Ferguson Hardware for being a quality hardware store, for always offering help in problem solving, for you friendliness, and over all quality customer service. It makes it possible for me to practice localism.

I lived in Ferguson for 8 years and still have a rental house there. I have been in this store at least two dozen times and the staff has always been very helpful. They are all very knowledgeable, but the guy who works there is phenomenal. Sorry to hear that the other reviewer didn’t have the same experience. I will say that the employees will help you all the way through until youre done, then they help other customers. Personally, I would rather go to this hardware store than Lowes or Home Depot any day.

Great place for when you need something specific and fast. You can be in and out in less time than it takes you to park and walk into Home Depot. Staff is very helpful, but they do completely finish helping one customer before acknowledging another, so if you catch them at a busy time, you will wait. I own a dozen houses in Ferguson and live there myself, so Ive had plenty of opportunities to patronize this store, always to my total satisfaction.

Excellence in customer service. They will really take time to discuss and try to help you get the right product to solve your plumbing/carpentry/painting problem. But yes, you do sometimes have to wait while the same attention is given someone who came in before you.
