Typically I love Aldi. This experience wasnt so great. I walk in at 8:45 p.m. they close at 9 p.m. and one of their workers who seems to be a manager gives me a weird stare when I walk in. Then I need a box to carry my food so I just condense two crates of oranges into one crate and I take the other crate and the same worker who is cleaning the floors is giving me a weird look. Then as Im browsing my options for food I typically scan bar codes with a food app that I have to tell me how healthy it is. She again is cleaning the floors right near me and I noticed her staring weirdly at me again. All around just an awkward shopping experience if she was curious with what I was doing she could have asked kindly but instead she just continue to give me weird looks and maybe assumed I was doing something wrong. She made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt like asking her if she was a manager but I didnt want to create any conflict she already looked very upset that it was 8:45 p.m. and I was walking in to buy $40 worth of groceries. Which I did in 10 minutes. Im sorry to inconvience you. Maybe Ill take my business to Aldi in Crystal Lake- thank you very much. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Parking in evenings can get tight. Make sure you have a quarter to rent/ return your cart. You will get it back when returning. This Aldi is stocked. It is clean, well lit and has an amazing selection of foods at low prices. They also stock some household items, toys and gifts around holidays at a great value. We have had great experiences in trying Aldi brand foods. Employee/cashiers are like ninja-fast at checking you out. If you havent been to an aldi they keep there prices so low by having you box/bag ( bags are 10 cents or bring your own) your items. Great store!

This Aldis is a pretty small location so it will be a quick shopping trip once you go in. The last time I visited I noticed there were so many more name brands available, as well as lots of organic items. They have a small produce area in the middle and a wall of frozen items. Word has it, that the old Dominicks down the street will become a replacement or new test store that is much larger, has a bakery, deli and more.

I too have been overcharged at aldi. I noticed that on a receipt of 40 or so items Ive been charged twice for the same item and its always the most expensive item. This occurred in Niles, lake in the hills, and the new Huntley store. Is this a program error or intentional theft.

Most of the staff is very friendly. Good cheap items. I love the specialty goods they bring in each week. They have great organic and natural goods for much cheaper than other stores. Aldi is a staple in my shopping chore. Love thats its close to home too.

Fabulous employees. Shelves always stocked. Very clean, neat and orderly. Parking can be a pain when nearby restaurant is packed. Very fast checkout.
