Toilet was over flowing on my last trip and Tonight I went to Meijer after work and loaded my cart with the things we need for the rest of the week... Got to the check outs and the only thing open is self check out... I like them when I have one or two things but with one hundred and twenty dollars in groceries I was not impressed by any means. Then the girl running it realize how much I had and ask the manager Rachael if they could open a lane... She shrugged her shoulders and walked off! So it took 25 mins to shop and because I had to take stuff off the weighing scale because I had so much stuff, the computer got goofed up and it took me 20 mins to check out! Guess I will be going back to festival. All the employees seem to be walking around chatting and the only person that was working the front was the poor girl at the self check, who was over loaded with people who had full carts or didnt know how to use self check.

Well I like this place alot. However last night after working a 12 hour shift around 9:30pm I had a whole cart full of groceries and there was zero checkouts open, only the self check. I asked the three girls standimg there if this was normal? The one told me she was going on break and if I Really needed it she would open her register back up. Sounded like an inconvenience to her so I let her be. Needless to say I wasnt very happy to scan groceries for 20 minutes. Perhaps will try festival or walmart even if its past 9pm.

Large section of produce, frozen, boxed food, and home goods. Pricing is fair and was able to get more for the normal total price spent elsewhere. Did not need to interact with staff besides at the register, but all staff seemed friendly and happy to be working. Cashier was happy to help and engaged in conversation. Unsure if i will switch completely away from my regular due to Meijer being on the other side of town, but this is a great addition to the area.

Nice, clean, pleasant workers. I found it easy to shop. Ive only been there 2x since it opened, so I can only speak for the food section right now. They do offer quality meats, the prices are good, but like anywhere, you need to know your brands & pricing, sales/ coupons. We also used their $5.99 deal for haircuts . They turned out really nice for the kids & I highly recommend trying them out. Well be going back.

great selection of almost everything and good prices. However, check out lanes are VERY slow. We went on a slow Friday morning. They had about 6 lanes open, 3 customers in each lane....and it took 30+ min of waiting to reach the cashier. I think this is an unacceptable wait times store, especially with kids! The kids were whiny and "DONE!" far before we were close to checking out, which sullied the experience.

I have been in the store 5+ times now, and every time, every employee has been helpful and friendly. Some of them are so friendly and helpful that I leave feeling better than when I went in. I know the store is new, but I hope they continue to keep their employees well taken care of, and to hire people like they already have, because it is so nice to be treated so well.

Not impressed with the hype. Store set up is a little different, but attempting to checkout is a NIGHTMARE. Few lanes open. Stood in line for over 20 min and would have left and gotten my purchases elsewhere, if not for being blocked in. Some items are WAY more expensive than other stores ($2 for an avacado?!) Go to Festival, and for the other stuff shop local.

Meijer seems to be a big rip off of Walmart from what I saw when I went their. None of the staff seemed to be doing anything or saying hello to anyone, just standing around talking to each other. Their prices are higher or the same as anywhere else in town, so I dont see how its better, or if there is even a need for the store in our area.

We have been to Mejier twice now and so far love it. Its a bit out of the way for us, but overall its worth it. Their app with coupon clipping and the ability to pay with your phone are awesome and put them above Walmart in my mind. They also have a great selection of the things we want and need with frequent sales. I say check it out!

Our first time to the store. Prices were on par with competitors. Store was clean. My one BIG complaint was the cashier chomping on and cracking her gum. Quite tacky, chewing with her mouth open. The receipt lists Beverly as the cashier, however, her name tag was either Robby or Bobby T. Tx 127. Ok 2215554 tm 10 st 298 13:34:26.

Love this place! I went twice today for some small shopping, the store is huge plan on spending a while there if you wana see the whole store. The prices are decent. Very clean store. Friendly employees whom seemed to actually care about helping me find everything! I would defiantly recommend this store to anyone!

Not sure why so many people got so excited about Meijer coming to town, as the prices were iffy at best and the selection was really poor in multiple departments we checked out. Admittedly, we did not venture into the grocery section, so perhaps that part of the store was better...

First time there. Only shopped the produce section and was very pleased with the selection and prices. The main grocery isles had nice selections as well,the prices are comprable to other big stores. Didnt make it through the hard-line isles this time. Hope to come back soon!

Big place hard to get use to I like the room high ceilings makes you feel that you have air to breathe Most of the other stores have low ceilings cramped sensation in and out Meijer store in Howard feels comfortable dont mind shopping and I hate shopping

Familiar Walmart layout.... Sections where you would expect them to be, just the collection is more complete and more refined... I could definitely smell the new store smell. Loved it. Definitely switching over from Walmart to Meijer for weekly groceries.

It is like Walmart but much nicer. The grocery section is bigger than Wally World and the prices are similar. There are "buy two get one free" deals in many departments. The checkout was extremely slow on a Saturday evening with only four lanes open.

One of the things i loveis that their greeter will have the paper to their store to know what is on sale as soon as you get in the door. They always have very good sales on grocery so ive stopped visiting walmart thats how much i love this store!

We went here for the first time two weeks ago and we really liked the large selection of food they had available, and we didnt even get into the second part of the store very much to look at all the normal items such as clothes and houseware.

I didnt find the prices to be any better. Or more variety. Its larger and more spread out than other stores. We havent seen all the departments in the 2 trips we were there. Plan to spend a long time in the store if you go.
