Im thinking some of these reviews are meant for another store, not Newnan Appliance. Ive never seen a gal in there. Well one, but she runs on four legs, wags a tail, and doesnt speak very good English. I had the opportunity to fix my heat pump this summer. It was a great opportunity to learn how all the parts work together. I ended up frying multiple components along the way. The guys at Newnan Appliance had all the necessary replacement parts on hand. Plus they were kind enough to dispel wisdom and information, saving me time and grief. Look, fixing appliances, especially old ones can be tricky. Its not as easy as changing a light bulb or an air filter. You take a risk fixing it yourself. You need to be accurate with your replacement part requests and know the proper steps to perform the repairs. YouTube videos wont tell you everything you need to know, but many a time, Newnan Appliance has helped fill in the gaps. As for these snowflakes who whined about customer service - its an appliance repair parts store, not Chick-Fil-A. Get over it. Be cool with these guys and they can and will be helpful. This is based on personal experience. Thanks Newnan Appliance, Jesse Nelkie Sharpsburg, GA

My Samsung dryer stopped heating. I looked up a few troubleshooting tips online and it appeared that it needed a new heating element. I got the dryers model number and looked for the part online. $50, free shipping BUT it would take a few days to get to me. I decided to find a brick and mortar store so I could get the part same day, a quick google search brought me to this place. I called to check if they had the part in stock. The man I had the misfortune of speaking to was...well, I dont know how else to describe it as succinctly as.. he was an ass. Rude, short and condescending. AND the part was over $60, no refunds. I wanted my dryer fixed quickly, family of 5, two girls leaving for college next week, last thing we need is laundry piling up. My adult daughters offered to pick up the part. Apparently, they had the misfortune of having to deal with the same ass. He was just as rude to them as well. I will recommend to anyone I know...use Amazon, find it cheaper online and skip having to deal with "todays technology with yesterdays customer service" If this "customer service" is any indication, yesterdays customer service sucked. The one highlight, the part worked and I am happily listening to my dryer run right now.

our dishwash was having issues.. We are new to the area and have a home owner warranty.. When we called them they set us up to have Newnan Appliances to come out and look at our dishwasher... They came out and told us they needed to order a part and that he would have it in a few days... We had to call them back to see if they had the part in... Came back and told us it was all fixed.... Needless to say it wasnt!!!! We called back and they stated I forgot to tell you that you need to run your hot water in your sick first... WHATEVER !! I dont ever recall in the past even with my high end dishwashers I had to do that... It isnt in the owner mannual !!! Then he said it was also due to where my hot water heater was ... YAH RIGHT..... SURE.. my manual says I have to have my dishwasher so many feet away from the water heater... WHAT A JOKE!!!! They told me I was wrong on the phone and I would NEVER even think or tell anyone to work with these unperfessional people again!!!!! LAZY!

I needed an appliance part to repair my washing machine. I was about to order a repair “kit” online when I decided to see what I could find locally and save some down time not having to wait for shipping. I called Newnan Appliance Parts and asked about an agitator repair “kit”. The owner asked me if I needed to replace all the parts that come in the kit or just the “dog” ears. I wasn’t sure. He told me to bring what I had and he would match up what I needed. When I got to the store, the owner quickly said that all I needed was the “dog ears” and I was good to go. Took the time to make sure I knew how to get everything back together. $6 for parts that I was about to spend $20 for the whole kit. What more could you ask for. Thanks for the good customer service.

Rating this one is tough. Every time I have needed a part for hvac or appliances, theyve had it, so I cant complain there. Prices are comparable to whats online without having to wait or pay shipping. I guess, since they are the only game in town, customer service doesnt really matter. Not sure if its a husband & wife team or just a guy and gal with mutually bad attitudes. Regardless, customer service is the worst. No greeting, no thanks, no go-to-hell, you get the picture. So, as long as you know what you need - dont expect assistance - and as long as you dont care about being ignored - not sure what use the woman serves - youll probably get what you need. Parts: 5-stars Service: 1-star

Ive read the reviews before I went to this store. My mom had found them and talked to them in person beforehand. On 12/21/16 I loaded up my dryer and took it to them. As I suspected it was a heating element. The man who helped me unload it was fast and courteous. Dropped it off at 9 and it was fixed by noon. They were friendly with both my mom and I. I dont need the how ya doing treatment alot of people need today. Its business. I would use them again. The part and labor was also very reasonable. Thank you. Especially being right before Christmas.

They are really true People my dryer broke so they said either Heating element or a fuse the Heating elements was 46.oo the fuse was 15. It ended up being the fuse so I took the other back any body would have not told about the cheaper they are really about the customer

Rude and long hold times. To busy talking to someone else then working on trying to help me find the part I need. Will not go back!
