The details of this incident are listed below but the bottom line is the Sears Outlet Store sold me a broken Samsung Refrigerator from 2012 under the pretense it was a working, new item that only had a few minor scratches and dents. The purchase was made on the 3rd of March and returned on the 18th of March and my refund was not processed until today when I had to make another call to Sears in order to have the funds released back to my account. I have never in my life encountered such poor customer service, poor quality merchandise, or such a horrible warranty program. I was also appalled and disappointed that throughout this I was contacting an American company in the United States and only ONE TIME was I able to speak with anyone who spoke English that I could understand. I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator with the Sears Master Protection agreement on March 3, 2017 from the Sears Outlet Store on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, TN. The fridge was picked up on March 10th and brought home and installed on the 12th. That same day I called warranty service because the fridge wasnt working at all and was told to wait 24 hours. The next day I called again because it still was not cooling or working at all. A technician finally came to the house to look at it on the 15th and found that the fridge was several years old and needed the freezer coils replaced before anything else could be done to diagnose the issue. I was told the repair would not take place until the 21st. That is a solid WEEK with no fridge. I then called the Sears Outlet Store in Knoxville and spoke with Eric, the assistant manager, who was quite clueless as to how I could return the item or as to why I was sold a broken item. Several phone calls and hours later I was able to talk to the manager of the local store here in Kansas City who told me what needed to be done. Then I had to make the phone call to Eric and explain to him how to do his job and have the fridge picked up. It was picked up on the 18th of March and I never heard anything from Sears, nor did I get a refund. I called Eric again this morning and had to remind him to process my refund. He claims he has now released funds back to my account. All told I paid $1500 for the fridge and warranty on March 3, and despite returning the item on the 18th and making several complaints I still have do not have my money back. During this process I was kicked around customer service repeatedly, denied the use of the warranty service, denied the right to make a claim for the food, and even told by your own technician that I should never buy appliances from the Sears Outlet Store. Luckily I had the funds to purchase another, new fridge from a different retailer or I still would not have one at all. To be frank I will be filing complaints with the BBB and Consumer Affairs and will never step foot in a Sears Store again.

We bought a washer here, and took delivery from the back, and loaded it in to our truck. I know nothing about front-loader washers, but apparently theres shipping bolts that need to be in place before you ship them. Well they forgot to put those in our first washer, so it was broken when we got it home (spin cycle thunked and wouldnt finish). Kevin, the manager was very helpful. He not only replaced it by personally seeking out a local moving company to deliver another to us, he even put a discount back on our credit card. We were apprehensive to buy from Sears outlet, but now I wouldnt even hesitate, especially from this location! Quick beware: The service plans are a great value, however, when I called about our washer shaking and thunking, it was going to be a week and a half before a tech could get out to my house. This may not always be the case, but just wanted to let you know that its possible.

The saleswoman that was there was terrible. She was extremely rude and unknowledgeable. We were looking for a dehumidifier. My husband was on his way and I decided to look on the website and see what they had. I found one online and called. The woman stated they didnt have any. I told my husband, but he was already there. He walked in and found 3 of the model I had asked about on the phone. He carried it to the register and asked the woman about an extended warranty. She would have gladly sold him the warranty. He asked about the duration it covered. She didnt know and handed him the phone number to find out instead of finding out for herself. Turns out the extended warranty doesnt even cover this item. He put it back and walked away.

Id never purchased from Sears Outlet before but was disappointed when I discovered post-purchase that they didnt ship items to the customer. I called Sears customer service and they said that they could only cancel the order for me. Well, they didnt cancel it correctly as Tim H. in Knoxville called days later to inquire why he had an open order waiting for payment. When I explained what had happened Tim looked into it for me, took my CC info, and had the discounted item shipped to me. Awesome. I couldnt be more impressed by Tim H., and Sears Outlet. Thank you Tim!

I made my first visit to the Sears Outlet Store in Knoxville, Tn. today. My experience was a pleasant one with the employee that serviced me being very courteous and helpful with my purchase. I specifically came in to buy a small freezer for a friend of mine. They didnt have the specific one I was looking for, but I will still able to make a small purchase anyway. My Sears Outlet Store employee with Eric Schaller. I will definitely tell my friends and family about my experience here today.

Long story short they had an ad on a washer saying that it was in store they cant answer their phone for the life of them and when I got there the washer was not there after emailing corporate they assured me that that store has that washer there so ultimately if you want to buy from a store that has terrible bookkeeping and doesnt know what inventory they have or do not have Sears is your place its like the Dennys of appliance stores you only go when everything else is closed.

Horrible service they cant even answer the phone drove 30 minutes there on an ad that said a washer was in stock I tried to call to verify but of course only having two Associates work no one has time to answer the phone on top of that I was told to leave as many bad reviews as I want theyre not going to give me any deals the washer I wanted had never been there yet it showed that it was still in stock a word commonly referred to as false advertisement

There was only one person on the floor to help customers on Labor Day, one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Very frustrated because after calling to see if they had the item I was looking for in stock and then driving 100 miles they did not have it after all!
