As far as the parts/service area, I scheduled my appointment online and within TWO minutes got a call from a salesman saying they desperately needed Camrys and would offer me great deals on mine for a new 15/16 car. I was appalled but kept my appt and I brought my 12 Camry in for service as well as repair a recall issue. Slow greeting, slow computers, and a time stamp of nearly 4 hours to complete. Not 30 minutes in to leaving was the first call of all air filters needed replacing, next was battery level was marginal (Ive never had one problem cranking) and the washer line would need to be ordered, an expense even though it was bought at that location with that problem. I denied the battery replacement but agreed to let them clean the connections ($24 for a 5 minute wire brush scrub is a ripoff) In any event $147 later my simple oil change was complete in only about 1.5 hours thats the only good part of this. Upon return, I went to the cashier where I waited 15 minutes to pay because she had to inspect a loaner vehicle for someone, a number of other service clerks were just hanging around. When I checked my car, the inside looked like it had been turned upside down, not a floor mat in place,it was not returned as I had left it. Glove box stuff was on the floor but what got me the most were the brand new tires I had put on the front of the car a mere 7 days prior had been rotated to the back. This was not a service I asked for and any real mechanic would know that those were brand new and the back had a lot more wear. You would want the new ones on the front of this car or if in doubt ASK ME if I wanted that as part of the service. In any event, I have been interested in purchasing a 4 runner so while there we test drove a used one. I loved it but am in no hurry to purchase, just curious if I want to step up to one. We were upfront with the salesman on that fact. He talked me in to running the numbers anyway. The salesman was nice but I gave him my bottom number right off the bat. Of course, someone from the back needed to come out and schmooze me more to pay a higher number and when I said no he said well until he could know my credit score for certain he couldnt give accurate numbers so I agreed to run A CREDIT CHECK, meaning ONE! 3+ hours later and walking out the door from feeling like I had been interrogated and played for hours, they offer me the original price I said was my bottom dollar. Sorry, you lost my sale FOREVER with that treatment and shy of giving me the 4 runner would buy nothing from you but thats not the end of this long story. The next day I have an alert about a credit inquiry from the credit monitoring I have, not ONE hit but EIGHT in one day!!!! I never authorized this and you have now lowered my credit rating due to this. Furthermore, I received FIVE follow-up phone calls on Monday wanting my opinion. I gave them my opinion with no solution that I requested. In addition, I have had constant emails requesting I fill out survey about them after survey. Their responses look the same as all these negative reviews, now they wanted me to fill out this survey. If you are going to harass someone this much at least respond to them with something other than their generic reviews. I have firmly said I wont be back to this dealership so I guess they figure its no point in doing anything to make things right. Your management and business practices are in dire need of being swept clean and being replaced.

I went in to do some research on options we were looking for since our 2007 Camry was starting to give us some issues at 120,000 miles. Went through the USAA Car Buying Service to get a point of contact. (Told USAA I was looking for a 2017 Toyota Prius Four Touring and they gave me three Priuses but none of them the Four.). We had ridden in a friends Prius a few years back and was surprised at how much room there was. It also had the hatchback storage which somewhat made up for the battery pack that took a lot of room out of the Camry Hybrid trunk we had seen. To thoroughly check it out, we rented a Prius in 2015 in California and drove it from San Francisco to LA and back. Very impressed. But just wasnt ready to buy. Spoke to Alexis Fuller and explained I was just looking and wanted some information on the Prius Four Touring. She connected me with Leon Poole, one of their PRO (their acronym) sales people. Hes been in the business for over 14 years and was ranked as a PRO, their top line sales person. He spent the day with me with very few interruptions from other customers. Showed me the Prius Four Touring they had, showed me the RAV4 Hybrid (which I hadnt considered but it was nice to compare). Did not have the Avalon Hybrid I would have looked at (closes to the Camry we already owned). Answered all my many questions and if he didnt know the answer (a rarity), he went and looked it up to make sure he was giving me the correct info. During this time, they were working on my wifes care and told me the expected costs for the 120K mile check, tire pressure sensor, and the potential impact of a "Check Engine" light + "Check Vehical Stability Control" light. Decided it was time to buy rather than pay a large repair bill that may indicate more difficulties coming as the car was getting a little old. Called my wife to come down and check out what I had found. Since we had already been talking about getting a new car when the time was right, she agreed that with the issues with the 2007, the time was right. She drove the RAV4 and the Prius and decided on the Prius for the features and gas mileage. The fact that the price was the same as the one I got through USAA (well below MSRP). They also gave us a fair trade-in on the Camry and didnt have to pay the large repair bill we were accruing. At the end of the day, we drove out of there in a new 2017 Toyota Prius Four Touring and continue to enjoy it. Thought the Service Department was excellent and, of course, the Sales people (Alexis and Leon). Would highly recommend Toyota of McDonough. We have had both of our Toyotas services there and have never been unhappy with the service. Ken Thomas

I was getting the runaround by other dealerships, and wanted to actually buy my truck after searching for it for two months. Toyota of McDonough had the exact configuration I was looking for, so I emailed them asking about the truck. Alexis responded to my email and was very helpful answering my questions and helpful with negotiating the price I wanted. After agreeing to a number on the exact truck I wanted via email, I rode two hours South from East Cobb to McDonough. Peter greeted me the moment I got to the dealership. He was bright, friendly, and helpful. I explained to him that I had been talking to Alexis, so he found me a seat, offered me a drink, and went to go find Alexis to get in the loop. He introduced me to Alexis, and came back immediately with the keys, ready to show me the truck without me even asking. On the test drive, Peter was helpful explaining the differences between some of the features (like ECT vs traction control). We got back to the dealership, and I told Peter I would buy the truck at the price I had negotiated with Alexis. He quickly got the deal together, and was VERY patient with me while I got all my paperwork together. I was unprepared coming to the dealership, and had to spend about an hour going back and forth on the phone getting all of my information together. There was a long wait for finance, unfortunately. But, the finance guy (I forget his name) was fast, helpful, and able to answer all of my questions without skipping a beat. The long wait on finance was the only negative part of buying my truck at this dealership; I do not think waiting hours on finance is professional. Regardless, everything other than that wait was so overwhelmingly positive that I still rate the dealership 5 stars. I came out of finance to find Peter waiting for me. He had already pulled the truck around, and given it a final wash and polish to clear the pollen off. He helped me load my motorcycle into the back, took a picture of me with my new truck, and congratulated me again. I definitely would recommend Toyota of McDonough if youre looking to buy a new truck, and encourage you to ask for Peter McNeal. Hes young, sharp, full of energy, and very helpful!
