We Purchased a 2010 Ford Escape, In Good Faith (Or so we thought!) We bought this vehicle on 04/28/17. The salesman we worked with, (We never really got his name.) disappeared as soon as we were remanded to the finance man, Aaron Mathis. Upon finance approval, we were informed that, even though the interest was very high, it also "included a warranty." We were pleased to hear this, because our intention was to pay the balance in full, within a few months. As all the paperwork was being generated, we were given the choice, "You can go through several pages of paperwork, signing multiple times or you can trust me to electronically sign for you." (Live and learn, we chose the latter.) During the processing of our paperwork, he spent several minutes, haggling with a co-worker, who was making a run for food. Including making a call to Little Ceasars, so his order would be ready for pickup. When it arrived, he proceeded to eat half of the pizza while finalizing our paperwork. Very professional! Life was pure chaos for us, during the first few months of ownership. The vehicle had a few glitches, but nothing major. Then, we pulled the ~35 pages of paperwork, we were given. Unfortunately, we discovered, "the truth," rather than "what we were informed," the day we made our purchase. I contacted Aaron Mathis on August 15. After several messages were left, someone finally arranged for him to take my call. Upon speaking with him, he apologized repeatedly, for having "misspoken regarding" or "misrepresented" the warranty. He also stated, "I am very busy and dont have the time to explain everything to a customer." In rebuttal, I asked, "So you have the time to tell customers that a warranty is included with this finance company, but you dont have the time to inform them that they are going to have nearly $1,500.00 tacked on to their loan?" Aaron Mathis responded, "I presented you with the final paperwork, which itemized everything that was included in your loan. You signed it." During the call, I requested to speak with the dealerships owner, John Leonard. I was informed that I could speak with him "Any time he is in," which was followed by, "He never comes in." Aaron Mathis proceeded to refer me to his "General Manager." I asked, "Does the owner not care?" His answer was, "No, he doesnt care." I asked, "Does your General Manager care?" To which he responded, "I dont know." Shortly thereafter, the call ended with, "Its 6:16. I dont have time for this! Good bye!" CLICK, call ended. Needless to say, we are not finished. Anything we can do, which could prevent a similar event with someone else, will be addressed. We, initially, had a lot of good feelings, regarding our interaction with Showcase Auto Sales. We were planning to return in a month or two, with the intention of purchasing another used vehicle. However, at this point, we wouldnt even consider it! Which is really sad, considering the selection and quality of the vehicles they are selling. ******************************* 15 minutes after initial post: The photo attached, is the response from Showcase Auto Sales. Apparently, their Customer No-Service is alive and as irrational as usual. Their response to my many concerns indicates, once again, any concerns a customer has shall be ignored. They are masters at shirking responsibility and shifting blame. I did not mention anything about a "financing" issue. What I stated is factually based upon personal experience, as well as actions, inactions, failure to inform, unprofessional behavior, refusal to respond, refusal to accept responsibility, refusal to acknowledge, refusal to correct, etc. I believe that I have been extremely clear in regards to my concerns, intentions, as well as my request to speak directly with John Leonard. Ask Aaron Mathis for my identity. He will know exactly who I am, as well as have my contact information. I look forward to speaking with "Owner" (aka: John Leonard)

****BUYER BEWARE***PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP***** This is my edited review, because there is way to much to say, longer story short- I went to Showcase, test drove many trucks. I picked my truck and all seemed well. We purchased the truck. Upon signing i was offered a warranty from Aaron. I cant remember his exact words, but it was something like "Im going to hook you up with the best warranty company we have". WE MESSED UP BY NOT READING THE WARRANTY CONTRACT. I did however ask if we had to take the truck to certain mechanics? Aaron said "no, any certified mechanic", which is true, but what he doesnt tell you is that the labor rate GWC (GWC is the warranty company) is willing to pay for repairs is so low that finding someone to do repairs is impossible. The nearest one to me is about a hour and a half away. My transmission on my truck failed before I made 1 payment. When I called Showcase back, I got nothing in the form of help. I understand it was a used truck, with over 100,000 miles, so I knew I would eventually have to replace stuff, I didnt expect it to be before my first payment . I guess I expected the dealership to stand behind the product they sell. MY MISTAKE AGAIN. My truck is now been in the shop (A Dodge dealership) for 2 days short of a month. The hold up has been from GWC totally. The repair guy has told me that GWC "is flat out the worst warranty company he has ever dealt with." I just found out today they shipped the wrong used transmission. So now Im looking at a few more days. Ive been on hold with GWC the whole time I have been typing this reiview. The real sad thing is that after all this, Im still getting stuck with about a $800 bill to get a used transmission put in my truck WHEN MY DEDUCTIBLE IS ONLY $100. BTW, any diagnostic work is not covered by warranty either. Garbage dealer that does not stand behind vehicles they sell, Garbage warranty company. DONT BE FOOLED BY 5* REVIEWS, SHOWCASE OFFERS GAS CARDS TO CUSTOMERS THAT LEAVE A GOOD REVIEW BEFORE THEY LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP. I made mistakes by trusting the dealer, I can only hope this review can stop anyone from doing the same.

The most unprofessional dealership ever. I first called about an 08 Dodge Caliber and specifically asked if any of the lights on the dash were on. They said no its in "great shape". I test drove a few of them closer to my home and liked the car. I told them the morning of that I wanted to come see it, and I was taking a half day at work to drive from Holland Mi. They said "no problem, I will get it brought up, are you paying cash or are you looking for a loan". I drove 2 hours there, and when I got there they acted like I had not called 5 times in the last 4 days about the car. When I turned the car on there it was, a AWD! Light was on in yellow. We took it for a drive and to be honest it did not ride that bad regardless for the rusted frame. The salesman said pull it around back and we can hook it up to the computer and see what it says. During the 5 minutes it took this guy to hook it up. The car battery died and he was unable to get any information as to what was wrong. They were all googling the problem. After all was said and done the already steep price on the car(according to KBB) the owner was not even willing to come down 200$ in fact he did not care that he was trying to sell a crap car and just suggested we buy a warranty. What a wasted day by a bunch of con-artists. Never buy from them. Most of your car parts are used from the other million cars they have laying around out back! You never told me you were going to fix it! In fact when salesman walked over to you it took you less than 15 seconds to say no! You didnt even know what had happened outside! Maybe talk to your "salesman". He said that the car was as is and that maybe you could come down on the price and thats when we walked into the office. And he also told me to buy a warranty. I see you back peddling on every bad review and it all tells the same story you are rude and disrespectful. That car has been on Craigslist for weeks and I am sure it will stay there! Especially because its above KBB and the light on the dash is for all wheel drive failure! Not to mention the rust.
