Weve purchased a used 2005 Prius from this dealer about for months ago. In hindsight, i feel like we were pressured into making a certain decision between two options. Comes with the territory of buying a used car, sure. But this car turned out to be a nightmare. The dealer has agreed to fix the AC issues prior to purchase, which he did not. The bluetooth was supposed to work, but to this day it doesnt. Annoyances, nothing more. Then the real issues started. The ABS, Maintenance Required and Brake lights all came on at once, within 2 months of purchasing. Took it to a mechanic, who said it was an ABS pump and module issue, $2000 (about half the cars worth). We called the dealership, and they gave us their mechanics number. He worked his magic and said it was probably okay to drive with only new break pads. It wasnt, the breaks gave out literally an hour after having left the garage. I was going to order the ABS pump and module part overnight for $250. He said he can get the part the next day for $220. Well, he didnt, but he didnt bother to call, only informed us after we traveled 2 hours on public transport to pick up the car and the dealership didnt pick up the phone or called back. Now hes quoting over $700 for the job in addition to the break pads ($150), making his hourly wage about $100 and the repairs within the first four months adding up to about the fourth of what we bought the car for. Because of the abysmal state of the car upon purchase (the spare tire was swimming in an inch of water along with a cigarette butt - a whole other story but worth noting), the unprofessional attitude of both the dealership and the mechanic were down about $2000 (Uber fees, lost shifts, car rental...), almost half the price of the car. Constructive solutions would have included a trade-in option, a loaner car, a mechanic who is reliable and is up front about their billing. Weve received none of these. EDIT: Weve purchased the car in October 2015, the review is dated February 2016. The issues started way earlier, yet perhaps even this dealership is capable of doing the math. Not a year, not even close. Maybe you write responses without knowing which customer youre responding to? Unsettling. No communication, zero responsibility for their sales. Inaccurate and unprofessional on repeated accounts. Dont bother.

I bought a Toyota Prius from this dealer for my college bound daughter and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. So far, I have spent over $3000.00 to get this car in a condition that is good enough for my daughter to drive. I am very disappointed that this business would sell a car with such major issues. I think that RB should have at least bore some of the cost of repairs since the problems ensued immediately after I acquired the car. When I went to test drive the car, I was told that the A/C was not cooling but RB’s brother assured me that their mechanic would repair it. Two hours later, he came back with the A/C now blowing cool air. The nightmare started 3 days later when the A/C blower stopped working. After several calls and text messages to RB, he responded that he would let me know when to bring the car in but I never heard back from him. A couple of weeks later, all the lights on the car’s dashboard came on. Due to the lack of response and help from RB, I took the car to a Toyota dealership and ended up having the thermostat replaced. RB was very impatient when I called him. He told me that he had customers to attend to. About a week later, the lights came on again and RB finally directed me to a hybrid auto shop in Roswell where I paid for a new hybrid battery, and had the hybrid control unit (HCU) flushed and reset as well. It will be a lie for RB and his staff to say that they don’t remember who I am because I have proof of my purchase.

I set my mind to buying a used Toyota Prius in order to have a long lasting vehicle more gas friendly than my SUV. Looking at many different used car dealers and personal sellers throughout the Atlanta area, there was no competition to Pioneer Auto. RB, the owner, listened to my requests and then showed me plenty of options he had on sight that met them. All were immediately available, in excellent condition and at prices lower than Id found anywhere else. I easily chose the perfect car for me, and was assisted further by Pioneer Auto doing my car registration, emissions inspection, and financial paperwork. I could not believe how easy purchasing with them was. Since I have never had a Prius before, I came up with plenty of questions about its maintenance, details of the multi-information display, etc. after buying it and RB is always available to answer them for me. The other part I greatly appreciated about Pioneer Auto is that I brought two 8-year-olds along during my shopping, yet was still able to completely focus on the purchase of a car! This is because the kids had a safe indoor area to play in, their questions about cars answered by any staff they asked, and the feeling that they were involved in helping make decisions. Because of this, they too are very proud of the Prius that was purchased. Thanks for giving my new year a great start, Pioneer Auto!

I recently purchased a 1995 BMW 530i (e34) from Pioneer Auto. I found the vehicle using the CaruGurus app, contacted dealer of the vehicle I wanted to buy. RB (Salesman) responded to my inquiry within 30 mins, and worked with me to get to his lot.. I had to reschedule several times, because of the distance and traffic and he was accommodating. When I finally did get to see the vehicle, I was immediately sold because it matched the photos on the CarGurus app (Over 40 photos) and the car was in immaculate condition. I quickly looked at the other cars on the lot and could tell yes, some are older models, but all the vehicles appeared to be in excellent shape inside and out. This is not a buy/here pay/here lot if you are looking for a beater. After terms of the sale were agreed, RB assisted in me attaining financing as well. When I arrived to finish the purchase and take ownership of the vehicle, RB had another customer who receiving their new vehicle as well, but even with that wait, I was in and out in 20 mins. That would never happen at a major dealership. I buy a new car every 18 months or so, and I have to say, out of my last 10 experiences, this was the easiest, most accommodating, and swiftest sale yet. I definitely recommend visiting this lot if you are interested in any of his vehicles.

I spent over a month trying to find the right deal on a car. If you are trying to buy a used car on a budget, it can be a daunting task because most sellers are charging high prices for cars with major mechanical/cosmetic issues just because they are new or popular makes. When I saw a picture of an old 1995 Mazda MPV on Pioneer Auto Brokers website, I decided to give them a try. R.B. was very upfront about any of the mechanical issues present (AC wasnt blowing cold air at the lot), so he worked out an AWESOME deal on it for me. I purchased it with good faith and so far I have been pleasantly surprised. The A/C blew ICE cold air as soon as I found and pressed the right button! When I went to my familys mechanic to check the car he put some oil in it, inspected it, and told me their werent any mechanical issues at all, that I made a great purchase, and that it just needed some oil! It is super clean on the inside and a shiny forest green color on the outside. The engine (V6) and transmission runs great and I can see that it has been meticulously maintained both mechanically and cosmetically by its previous owner. I get lots of funny looks driving around town and feel so cool driving it. I love this mystery machine!
