This is an excellent doughnut shop. They use the same recipes as Rays, Dough in the Box, Dandy Donuts, and Fosters. If you have been to any of these places, you will know that the most popular type they sell is sour cream doughnuts that are big, sweet, heavy, and delicious, just like you will be if you eat too many. I almost gave Tip Top 4 stars (like I have Rays) since, like Rays, they often sell out of the chocolate-covered sour cream doughnuts. Unlike Rays, where I have walked out twice since they were completely out of doughnuts and many times bought one dozen when I wanted two or three (to take to work) due to the poor selection, Tip Top appears to maintain a decent selection of doughnuts in the morning. Unless you just must have a maple bacon doughnut from Rays, I recommend Tip Top instead. Especially considering the slim chance they will actually have them in stock at Rays (in my experience, about 33%).

Wow. Ive tried almost every good donut spot in the Atlanta area. This place might just take the crown. And thats saying a lot because Atlanta is blessed with quite a few great donut shops. I think its just the complete package. The donuts are fresh and really tasty. The actual dough is baked just the right amount. The service I experienced was very good and if were talking about cheap, I dont know how they price it so low. We need more places like this!

Tip top is top notch. The doughnuts were great and far superior to what you get at DD. The place was very nice inside and the owners/family were extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is not in a typical suburban area but its probably great for the morning rush down Cobb Pkwy. I tried several of the offerings and all were light, fresh, and tasty. It is worth the trip out to Cobb Pkwy from West Cobb, East Cobb, or Vinings.

FRESH NOT FROZEN LIKE D&D. Youll never want a Dunkin Donut again! And a dozen was only like $7.50!! My office went nuts yesterday when I brought in Tip Top Donuts. Family owned and operated and they are the NICEST people. Its a shame theyre building a Dunkin RIGHT NEXT DOOR. Cmon folks--rally to keep Tip Top in business by giving them your business. You wont regret it. (Im addicted already.)

Nice people. Great Donuts. Flavors such as Blueberry cake, cinnamon roll, blueberry/apple fritters, sprinkles, nuts, maple bacon and many more! Wide selection of beverages plus coffee. Great sandwiches, great prices and they always throw in a couple of donut holes on the house. I would definitely recommend you try it. Speedy service is a great plus too!

excellent donuts and hot breakfast sandwiches! far, far better than dunkin doughnuts! cant believe theyre about to open one next door, but I think tip top will be just fine because they simply taste better. customer service is always super sweet! mycoworkers have started going there now that ive brought some in for everybody a couple times :)

Maple Bacon Dounuts & Apple Fritters: You Want Them. Trust me. These are so good DD couldnt compete; they built & closed in record time. Yeah -- Tip Top is THAT Good. Family owned, Tip Top has a nice selection of tasty treats -- donuts and bagels and croissants. Oh My! The worst thing youll have here is the trouble deciding between goodies.

Everything is good! Unlike your major chains, you will WANT to try at least one (really all) of the "plain" flavors: sour cream, buttermilk, and glazed. Boston creme is also a favorite. Even the fruit filled donuts are good ( not usally my fave.) There are also fritters and coffee. And theyre not expensive either. Great small business!

Some of the best donuts around and they are friendly too. Theyre much better than Dunkin. At my job, we always look at people funny for bringing in something other than Tip Top Donuts. Do not bring Dunkin when you could have had Tip Top!!! Youve been warned.

This place is a great little place with really fresh and delicious donuts! I am always asked to bring Tip Top donuts to meetings, and not Dunkin even though its next door. They have a variety of flavors and other breakfast foods as well that are all great!

This is a great family-run doughnut shop. They are always friendly and the donuts are always on point. I was born and raised on Krispy Kreme doughnuts, but I prefer these. Between this place and Sublime I dont know who could beat it in Atlanta.

Love a local small business. Its even better when the product they sell is good too. Tip top donuts hits all the marks. Their donuts are far better than any of the big league franchises. Bar none the best donut shop around the area!

Wow! So inexpensive and good. Try the sour cream donuts, they were moist and flavorful. We split a breakfast sandwich as well, and it was equally yummy! Bypass that Dunkins right next door and hit up this place, you wont regret it!

Best donuts Ive ever had. I took some into work and everyone wanted to know where I got them. The donut holes are so soft they melt in your mouth. I pass 2 dunkin donuts and a krispy kreme on my way to get these donuts.

The BEST donuts in town hands down. I will no longer eat a donut from anywhere else. The staff was so friendly and nice, gave us samples and we will definitely come back again. Just wish they would stay open later.

Tip Top Donuts over Dunkin Donuts every time. Not only are the donuts much better and fresher, the people working there are amazing. Everytime i take my kids, they always throw in a bunch of extra donut holes.

Good donuts at a better price. The family that owns and runs the bakery are friendly and helpful. Be sure to get here early in the mornings as the line is often to or out the door.
