I arrived at the donut shop at 9:50 AM only to be told that they only have two dozen donuts left and they are two thirds glaze. They are supposed to be open until 6 PM and Im really wondering what the heck the owner is paying these employees to do because its obviously not making donuts. You cant run a donut shop and sell customers old donuts with no selection with several donut shops and very near proximity. I understand that most people come early for donuts, however if you know that people will come all day long for donuts then adjust the amounts that you make accordingly. It was my first time at Stan the man and will definitely be my last. I will simply go elsewhere and I suspect that this business will be closing soon. I read other positive reviews of this place but now Im guessing its just friends and family have been Kohorst into leaving reviews. Dont believe the hype

Stan the Donut Man is amazing. Unlike Tom who posted an unwarranted view of this establishment and claiming that friends were coaxed into leaving reviews is just plain petty. Locals love and embrace this place. Stans is a place Ive be going to for years and years not knowing any staff personally and would recommend this unique donut shop to anyone. The donuts are fresh everyday and they stay open until the donuts are all sold which means some days they sell faster than others, especially on weekends. If you are looking for less than quality donuts all day long I suggest you take yourself to dunk n donuts or Starbucks where they get stale. Personally I not only enjoy fresh donuts but more importantly I support local businesses. All in all keep doing your thing Stan! Ill be coming your way tomorrow to surprise my nieces with your tastey treats!

Ive had more "gourmet" donuts (whatever that means), but not any better. My workplace has been supplying from the local "donut trail" so this isnt coming from a small sample size either. On my own, Ive been to other known places in Cinci as well. This is still the best and one of the cheapest. Heres my tip - go from 0900-1000 to avoid the line but while they still have 7-10 variaties of cake donuts. All the basic yeast types go fast and early, so go for the more flavorful and well-made cakes instead. They also have their amazing apple fritters in that timeframe, and their super-secret diet assassin, the pineapple fritter. Get it now!

Unfortunately our first experience was not great. So while the service was kind, we were under the impression that the store was open until 5pm and part of the Donut Trail that we were excited to complete. When we walked in, they had very limited selection remaining and were in the process of closing down before noon.... Super confused and disappointed as the kids were hoping for donuts we couldnt get elsewhere. We got the Glazed because thats pretty much all that was left- but we can get glazed anywhere- and they tasted like day old donuts sadly. Overall, disappointed in this selection for the Donut Trail:(

I had a blueberry cake which was very good and moist verging on under-cooked but it had excellent blueberry flavor that was not too artificial. I also had a chocolate-frosted round cream filled. This one was good but not great. The donut tasted bread-like and the cream flavor was also understated. The overall sweetness of the donuts were lower than usual so there wasnt the "too much sugar" feeling afterward. They could have used just a tad more sweetness, however.

Very good doughnuts. Can get a dozen for under 8 bucks. My personal favorite is the blueberry doughnut. Its a cake doughnut that makes me feel like Im eating a blueberry muffin when I have one. Delicious. If you go on a weekend make sure to get there early or there might not be any left.

Our favorite donut place! But they do sell out early. Love that they hosted preschool field trips to teach kids about how to make doughnuts. My kids still remember Stan 5 years later!

Made fresh every morning and they close shop when theyre gone, so gotta get there early. Theres a reason they are sold out by 9am, the sour cream glazed is the best on the planet!

They never have many donuts Everytime Ive been there since we moved here in 2013 theyve had very little selection so I go to Dunkin donuts,servattis or graeters for donuts
