I was passing through Richmond on my way north and was going to stop at my old favorite breakfast hangout 5th St. Bagel. Road was closed, so I sighed and turned around. As I was turning this place caught my eye, and since I hadnt had breakfast yet, I decided to stop. Man am I glad I did. The square donuts were pleasantly yeasty, and had a bit of zip (almost like a sour dough), coffee was good, but the real winner here was the apple fritter. Its simply a must have. I love apple fritters, eat em all the time, and Ive never had one that even came close to this. Big slices of juicy tart apples to be found everywhere inside, perfect crunch on the outside. This is worth the trip alone. Go early. They close at noon, or whenever the donuts run out, which apparently happens often, and for good reason.

I am a previous employee here, I had to quite as other employees were having there friends approach me in public threatening to do physical harm I was honestly scared to return to work anymore in fear of them just showing up there to assault me, along quiting the owner Michael Ingram did not issue me my last paycheck and completely ignored me and wont return calls or texts, but not that I lost a job I had just acquired because I didnt have gas money to make it (due to him not paying me for my hours worked) as being a person who has personally seen the production area you do not want to eat anything from either store

The quality of the donuts here have steadily gone downhill since the new management took over. Oftentimes their donuts will be stale, the icing will be runny, and the overall quality of the donut will be unsatisfactory. I will not be returning and recommend that anyone interested in good donuts to look elsewhere, because they cant be found here any longer.

Was the best donuts around! New ownership has dropped the ball and now when you buy they taste like day old donuts! Good things dont seem to last in Richmond Indiana! Ill be taking my business to Cinnamon Bakery in Centerville Indiana now.

After seeing donuts covered in filth and the inside of the donuts containing metal shavings I will never buy from here again. Several locals have reached out only to be blocked , ignored and called liars. Bad business .

The donuts here are really great, but the person running the register needs to learn how to make change my bill came to $2.15 I hand the girl a $5 bill she hands me back $2.28 change. SMH
