Horrible Customer Service and incredibly sketchy business ethics. I dropped my truck off for an alignment and asked them to call me when the work was done. Arthur had told me that they dont call customers to let them know the work is completed and to call in 4 hours. I called 3 hours later and they had already diagnosed my vehicle. In order for me to get an alignment, they would have to replace a good portion of the suspension (at least $1000) before even checking if my alignment was off. I went into the store with my father and Arthur was at the desk. I greeted him and he said nothing while typing on the computer. After 3 or 4 minutes, he takes my keys that were on the desk and leaves without saying a word to me. He came back into the office and he immediately greeted the couple that had just come in. I hate to pull this card, but both my father and I are White while Arthur and the couple that just came in were black. I was willing to have the work done at PepBoys regardless of the cost as I am prepping for a cross country move and rather not deal with car problems on the road so I asked him if I could see what the issue was. He told me that he would have to put my car on a lift and that none was available, even though I saw an open lift as the words came out of his mouth. After being told there was no lift available, they lost my business and I asked for my keys. Arthur gave me some papers to sign and got noticeably irritated when I read over both papers before signing. (I know, Im a horrible person for reading a document before signing!) Never have I ever felt less appreciated as a customer than I did here. Because of this, this PepBoys has lost the chance to perform routine maintenance and repairs on no less than 3 vehicles. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. DO NOT REWARD ANTI-CUSTOMER AND SKETCHY BUSINESS PRACTICES WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

I have read other reviews, but had a completely different experience. I needed quite a few things done for my truck before a long trip on a holiday weekend. They were packed and I did not have an appointment. They were able to work me in. James Geiger kept me up to date on the items needed to be done to my truck and how long it would take with a price quote. I was able to compare to other pricing for the mechanical and tires. Tires were equivalent to tires at Costco, but $200 dollars less. They were the same price for the mechanicals as competitors, which I compared for each service to 5 other businesses including 2 dealerships. The mechanic that worked on my truck, Torey Alexander, was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous for all of the times he would show me the issues with my truck. They were able to complete this complex ticket on the same day and professionally. In addition, I sat there and observed their interaction with other customers. People came and stated other mechanics said they needed to get items fixed on their car and after inspection James came to them and stated that the work did not need to be done and he had multiple mechanics look at it and they could not find any issues. Everyone I dealt with appeared to have the customers interest as the first priority.

Scheduled and appoint online at 5:30PM for the next business day for an alignment. I get there and the guy at the desk tells me they dont keep technicians after 6PM. So I asked why would you allow me to schedule and appoint? He stated that corporate is working on the kinks with making appointments online. To make up for the inconvenience, he allows me to reschedule for that Saturday morning and $20.00 off. A few days later I notice some shaking in my steering wheels once I reached 65-70MPH. So I thought maybe I should go back and get my tires balanced. I call on a Tuesday to schedule and appoint for Thursday at 5:30PM. Well its Thursday and I walk in, the same guy tells me that he had a late appoint scheduled today at 6PM so theyre unable to see me. This is the worst customer service Ive had in a long time. I literally had to drive across from easy Atlanta to Mableton. Thanks for nothing!

The Manager at Pep Boys told me my car needed work on a drive bar and steering column that would shortly become a safety issue. The estimate was $1,200. Took my car to two other garages that stated it was a rounding issue on one tire and the drive bar and steering column were just fine and both called the Pep Boys estimate unnecessary. The tire is under warranty but Ill probably take it somewhere else and pay more just to have these folks NOT touch my car.

I just had the most pleasant experience this morning! Last night the indicator went off that my brake lights and turn signal lights were malfunctioning on my vehicle. I called Pep Boys and spoke with James who advised me they could check out my problem within 30-45 minutes, so I headed on in. Within that time my vehicle was checked and the lights replaced at no charge!! I am beyond satisfied with their service and will return for any future repair needs.

They had excellent customer service! The men there were very genuine and polite. I came only for an oil change, but they didnt try to push any extra services on me (a woman) like some other major chains try to do. As I was paying for the service, they mentioned that my air filter needed to be changed, but that they didnt have the part and I could do it myself, since its so simple to do.

My check engine light had been coming on and off for over a year. After taking it to 4 different mechanics, failing emissions a few times, having parts replaced, lots of stress and frustration, I finally took the car to the pep boys in Mableton and they fixed my car! I cant thank them enough! Fritz, James, and Kevin were awesome! And from now on, I wont take my car anywhere else.

Was my first time there. Store hours as indicated online are 7am to 7pm. I was there by 7.02am but they were still closed. I waited for a few more minutes yet it was not open. Two technicians who were inside the office at the counter saw me waiting but they just ignored my presence. Even after signaling to them time they still never bothered to say something.

They have been working on my car for 2 weeks. They said they fixed it. But they messed something else up. Whatever you do, do not go to them. Because they will also mess with the stuff in your vehicle
