I am very pleased with Legacy Station and its owner. I bought a train for our familys Christmas. The kind of high quality train that was built decades ago in the day of my father and grandfather. Specifically, I bought an MTH Christmas Freight. I fell in love with the train instantly. The smoke, however, could not be turned off. So, elation turned to anger very fast. The warranty manual for MTH says "Return to warranty center." I live in an area of the desert SW where there is no service center. So, now MTh is saying I have to incur added expense and a long wait to get a working train. None of this was Legacy Stations fault, but I called them anyway. I was in a cab thousands of miles from home, when Legacys owner solved the issue over the phone. He sent me a new engine at no added expense to me, and he personally inspected to make sure the MTH unit was in perfect working order. It arrived shortly after I got home. It woks great. Plus, the owner is a super nice guy that is exceptionally knowledgeable about all things train. Legacy Station is literally 1,400 miles from my house. But, after this experience, I will be buying all my hobby equipment from Legacy Station. I believe in buying local to support your local small business. But, we have virtually no hobby stores where I live, and the one I know of has almost no train inventory ... they are an RC car, or drone shop. So, for myself, I wont be buying local. It makes much more sense for me to go straight to Legacy Station for all my hobby needs. They have best of breed service, and exceptional depth of knowledge of all things train. Just for loyalty sake, I will probably buy my non train things from them also.

Ordered a neon sign, $350 at that. Would have been a nice sign if I didnt receive it broken. Called Valery asking what they could do. They gave me the run-around and even forgot what I had even purchased. Now I am stuck getting it fixed myself for $120. Very upsetting that a business would operate this way. BUYER BEWARE, THEY WILL SEND YOU BROKEN PRODUCTS AND NEVER MAKE IT RIGHT. I have spoken to Valery over 2-3 phone calls and got NOWHERE. thank you and have a nice day.

Fantastic hobby shop. A wonderful selection with a great, friendly staff who actually know the product! Unlike every other hobby shop Ive been to, this one actually has room to walk around. And they have a very nice layout setup. Ive also ordered product off their website and it shipped way faster than I would normally excect. I hope this place is around for many many years.

This is a fantastic store with very knowledgable staff and an eclectic assortment of products. I had them special order some wooden trains, and they absolutely went above and beyond on my order. Their store is amazing with a back room model display that creates more of an experience. Please support this local business as opposed with the big online giants.
