This store was absolutely horrible!I have never in my life had such horrible customer service. I use to go to this store all the time when I was little with my parents and it use to be such a great store! I have no idea where to even begin with how horrible this store is! I guess ill start with how dirty and unorganized this store was. I couldnt even find a toy that was suppose to be in the right spot. Everything was all over the floors and nothing was on the shelves. I get it is a toy store and kids take stuff down all the time, but this was absurd. I couldnt even get my cart down the aisles. I had to actually stop and move things out of my way every-time I wanted to go down a aisle. Not to mention the horrible customer service! after I found one toy I wanted to buy they only had one register 2 lanes open and a line of 5+ people in each line. Finally as I got two people away from being next, the customer who was being currently checked out was telling the cashier the price was wrong. She picked up the phone and called someone in the back. Then she looks at me and another customer who was waiting to go to the other lane which was longer than the one we just waited in! As I get up to the register the cashier starts arguing with what i assume a manager. the cashier walks away and another lady took over. Never said hi how are you, or did you find everything ok, or sorry about your wait, or even apologize about her and her co workers fighting in front of me! THEN One of those machienes in the front ate my sons quarter to get a flashlight. I went BACK in to go tell a cashier and she completely ignored me I waited for about 5 minutes and she didnt even glance over at me! I had to carry my son out of that store in tears because of that! needless to say I will never go to a toys r us again! I have worked in retail for 10 years and 5 as a assistant manager at a local mall. These employees and that store were horrible!

I went here today to purchase a toy for the little boy I babysit. I waited in line and finally it was my turn. We got up to the counter and immediately we were ignored. The worker behind the counter thought it was more important to joke around and talk with his co worker than it was to even so much as say hello to me. I then started to insert my card into the chop reader, once, twice, and finally on the third time I tried to get the workers attention, who once again, thought it was more important to slack off and chit chat with his co workers. I was trying to ask him to help me but ended up figuring it out on my own because he was too busy to be bothered. Very unfriendly all around, was overly friendly to his co workers though! I gave this a two star rating simply because we did enjoy walking around the store looking for the perfect toy, however, they need to really step up their customer service.

After going to 3 other toys r us stores to find specific new toys for my sons 3rd birthday I was told by the customer service phone line the novi store had them. I went there the next day and they did not. It would not have been a big deal but for some reason they toys were only able to be bought in store, bot online. Unless you got them off amazon for double the money. When checking out with the one out of 7 toys I was looking for I mentioned this to the guy at the counter. His name was Brent and he was able to put me in there rain check system and held the toys I wanted for my son. I went and picked them up no problems. Brent was very bothered by the fact we were told by corporate that his store had toys they did not have and really went out of his way to help me make sure my son would enjoy his 3rd birthday. I recommend talking to him if you have any issues finding things.

Customer service completely blows. Waited on the phone for an hour only to have them completely hang up on me. I ordered a $500 power wheels and wanted to make sure they had it in stock before I make the trip. They had answered the phone with 5 different people putting me on hold. They came off like I was just inconveniencing them and didnt want to be bothered. Pathetic

The godzilla toys were hidden on the back sides of the aisles. And there was only THREE godzilla toys, what the hell! Get more godzilla toys and organize them better, god dammit. Floors are dirty, staff gives you crap if youre an adult buying a toy, store is poorly organized. Focus less on board games and video games and more on whats in the store name.

Im standing in line as I write this. 14 registers - 3 in use. Many employees on the floor - definitely helpful to find items but they arent on the registers. Poor management. Too many employees standing around wanting to help but they cant.

This store cancelled my online in-store pickup order by accident and I spent an hour on the phone with customer service correcting the issue, as well as getting temporarily double-charged for the purchase. Horrible experience.

Wonderful customer service at the service desk and check-out. Selection was good on baby items although inventory was low. The stuffed animal area looks like a disaster area, not sure why people let their kids go wild on them.

Although weve had issues, they have always fixed them quickly and made whatever it was better. Store is always clean, most staff is extremely knowledgable and are always willing to answer questions.

One of thee better Toys R Us in the area. Toys R Us has in general went down hill and this store is no different. There is limited staff to provide assistance and the shelf are not well stocked.

Who doesnt love Toys R Us? Bring your kids here, spend a small fortune, and see some great smiles on their faces. It aint cheap, but I dont know any store kids love more.
