I feel like we may have gotten by on this purchase by the skin of our teeth. Based on other reviews I found online, I kind of feel like I probably should have done a bit more research. Here are the pros and cons of my recent experience: Pros: Good price on car. So far, everything is structurally okay. After a few days with the car, we discovered, on an unseasonably warm day in South Georgia, that the A/C didnt work properly. We called AUC to follow up on picking up the key less entry that was not provided at the time of sale and mentioned this issue. They definitely owned up to fixing the compressor for half the price and making everything right. They were also quick to call their mechanic back in after hours to fix a few minor details i.e. headlights before driving off the lot. Cons: The salesman lacks in professionalism. We live over an hour away from the dealership, and when we tried to confirm the compressor was in before making the drive, the salesmen did not return calls after he specifically said he would. The receptionist finally helped us and returned the call once she got confirmation that the part was in stock. This took a total of FOUR business days to confirm, by the way. When my husband finally got confirmation, on the day he was taking it in, he took it in and waited almost four hours for the repair to be completed. When people are busy and live far from the dealership, this kind of lack in communication is unacceptable. If we would have known the part was in when we originally called, my husband could have planned to be at the dealership first thing and saved some hours of his day. The finance process is a bit slow, but the gentleman who handles financing had just started at the time of our purchase. We walked away with a good monthly payment, so its not a huge deal. My husband left the dealership without his drivers license, and when he called back to request the salesman mail it to him, the salesman accused him of losing it. My husband remembers not getting the license back, but the salesman refused to just take responsibility. He ended up going to the DMV to pay for a new one. Weve since had our friend, who is a mechanic, do a once over on this vehicle, and everything looks okay to him, but I cant say Im not holding my breath for something to go wrong. So far, so good. I guess my piece of advice is to proceed with caution. Do your research. Ive also noticed the person who responds to these reviews is quite unprofessional and sarcastic. I dont want any of that. Im not above leaving snarky reviews all over the internet about this place.

My partner and I decided to stop by at this place to trade our car for another vehicle so that way we could get into a car with a lower interest rate. The salesperson asked us for the key to our car, test drove/did evauation, etc and parked in a different spot than where our car was initially parked. Upon our return from testing a 4th car, we walked past our car and I noticed several scratch and a dent on the front passanger side between door and front right tire. The salesperson tried to act like nothing happened because I am deaf and I can read body language and I told the guy that we wanted to look at the surveillance cameras because they have 3 of them aimed at the front lot. He said he will ask the manager then couple of minutes later he said manager told him it was not working......hmmmm......then the manager came out to check it out and then we decided to have the police involved. The police wrote a report and now we have to try and convince our insurance company that the damage did happen while on the car lot. Fortunately, we had video from the day prior that showed how the car looked and did not drive the night before as our friends carted us around to a show in the city. The insurance adjuster advised that they would do their best to research, but with all of that said...DO NOT TRY AND TRADE YOUR CAR HERE! They will cause damage to lower the amount that your car is worth OR they didnt want to admit fault, which is quite dishonest in my book. They have decent cars, but we still think that this business is dishonest.

Atlanta Used Cars is very dishonest. My wife and I came in about a listing we found on the internet. To begin with, the listed price was about a thousand dollars different from the out-the-door price (after the dealers various fees). We attempted to come to a price we could agree, but had another engagement that cut short our time and we left without a deal. That was fine. We were ok with not getting the car for what we wanted. However, the salesman contacted me again by email and we continued to try to negotiate that way. We eventually agreed to the price that he had given us the day we visited (an out-the-door price just a little over the listed price). We traveled to the dealership (2 hours). When we arrived we had to wait a few minutes while the salesman was finishing with another customer. When he got to us, he took us to his desk and informed us that the out-the-door price had gone up by almost $600. He claims that the GM had set that price. This is what he had said two nights prior about the price we had agreed to before we came. We should have required the price in writing before traveling that distance. It feels like the dealership tried to take advantage of us because we had traveled a couple of hours. Maybe they thought we wouldnt walk away after coming so far. Whatever, the case, do not trust them. Get it in writing! ALSO: The first several 5 star reviewers I checked only has the one review. Cant be sure (and this is my first review), but Im betting theyre bogus accounts set up by the dealer.

I would not recommend anyone to go to Atlanta Used Cars. After 2 weeks of giving them a $500 deposit, they werent able to get the car until a month later. The finance guy, Sean kept assuring me that things were being taken care of. However they werent able to meet any of the deadlines that they pronounced. My salesman told me to come pick up the car and it was not there nor was he. I drove there several times because people were telling me the car was ready. Then they would come up with excuse after excuse once I got there stating that the car was not there due to it being painted. Once I saw the car, it still had several deep scratches on the bottom right hand side. The tire was going flat while it was being test driven by myself. If you want a car that is used and noticeably used then definitely go to Atlanta Used Cars! NOT! Even with the car being in poor condition, the service was horrible. They then hired a woman after me waiting for the car for 3 weeks and told me that she will be handling the sale. Although she did a better job at communicating with me, she never really knew what was going on because she had no prior knowledge to the situation. She only became a messenger between myself and the finance guy who knew he could not keep his word and used her to avoid me.I wouldnt trust doing business with them nor purchasing a car.
