My first experience at a Publix supermarket as a new resident of Georgia? The one on Cobb Parkway? Terrible. I have tags for Giant Eagle, Winn Dixie, Giant, Bi-LO, Kroger. Ive shopped for groceries from New Hampshire to Florida. And Ive never had a more ridiculous wait at any supermarket in at least 30 years. And why? There was light business and only one person in line in front of me. The clerk with the a heavy foreign accent was having trouble with an unkempt, crazy-looking woman buying a ridiculous amount of toothbrushes and trying to use coupons. The coupons didnt match the offers or were expired and the clerk explained it over and over and over again, being very patient, but actually being too patient. You have to have a limit in retail to just how polite you will be to people who are insane. It was very obvious that the woman with the crazy hair was just that; crazy. During this time, waiting in line with only five items, I was able to peruse an entire National Enquirer from cover to cover and read a number of articles. Over 10 minutes. It was ridiculous, but I was trying my uptmost to be patient. I figured Im new around here, dont mouth off. And I didnt. But it went on and on and on. So finally I changed lanes and get yet another clerk with a heavy accent having trouble with a customer. This ladys card was expired or something, and the clerk struggled and struggled trying to punch in numbers. She had punched them in at least five times with out success when I finally just walked out and left my stuff sitting there. Once again, it was just going on and on. And the big fat manager was just standing right there about 50 feet away watching and doing nothing. His clerks were struggling with these idiots, and he just watched. I dont blame the clerks as much as him. My first conclusion in my first trip to Publix? I dont know who was more stupid,- the customers, the employees or the manager.

Deli needs some attention as you can see by my photos. Mold in display case. Deli is also extremely slow and rude. Im always greeted with a phrase like "yes?" Or just blank stare like they have no idea I would like to make an order. I always feel like Im pulling teeth to get help. Im not one who normally goes rambling on in a negative review but after many failed visits I keep adding to the list. Really just waiting for the whole foods to open in Kennesaw at this point.

There are never any lines, it is always stocked, everything is fresh, and the customer service is astounding. There is also always a manger within eyesight. The only complaint I have is the $12 I spent on a fresh cheesecake from the bakery... I took one bite of it and had to throw it out.

There are some nice employees here so i am hesitant to leave such a bad review... but if you do happen to go here, dont have Jasmine ring you up, she is the rudest employee ive encountered in a long time.

Wish they would lay out the stores the same general way. When i go to the second store near me, the layout is totally different. Have to hunt for things i know right where they are at the other store.

i have been living in Kennesaw Ga for more than 4 years and have been coming to this Publix since then. The Employees have always been respectful and courteous.. 5 stars from my experience

Everyone in Every department is always helpful and nice. Pharmacy is very quick to fill my prescriptions. A plus for me is that theres someone to take my groceries to the car.

People are mostly friendly and helpful. Check out is fast and friendly. Prices may,not be as low as competitors, however the service they provide makes it worth the trip
