This was not the first time Ive visited this store and left cringing and cussing. The store was not busy, and I wanted a simple can of beige paint. I picked out a can of $23 flat paint for them to mix to the color i desired. Their computer didnt like the compatibility of the paint with the color, and so I picked out another color that would easier accommodate their end. I just happened to be walking around in the area when they pulled a $43.00 can of paint from the shelf after I told them I was on a budget. At this point I had been waiting about 25 minutes. How hard is it to advise a customer on which base paint to choose to get a flat beige wall paint for less than $25.00 !!?!?!??! Not to mention when I walked up to the counter the guy looked at us like we were purple aliens, and couldnt believe we wanted paint or something. Every time we go there you expect the employees to be friendly, but they all seem days away from blowing their own brains out. Plus the store is disorganized and poorly stocked. Everything is marked way up, do not waste your time or money here!

Im in the store a couple of times a week. Everyone is always helpful, and the selection of product is amazing for a small floor area. I might pay a little more here than if I shopped Lowes or Home Depot, but the neighborhood location saves time and fuel. Also, you dont get the great customer service at the big stores that you do at Oakwood Ace.

I bought a Weber grill there. Same price as big box stores but better service. Owner Gary couldnt be more helpful. He cares about his customers and the community. Its easy to support this family run business.

love this store, needed some plumbing supplies that neither big box store had but was so pleased to find it here. customer service wonderful. prices very competitive with big stores. highly recommended
