Average hardware store with staff that knows a bit. Never had a problem here and theyre friendly. I hate to say it but if you want real expertise on a project go to Stadium Hardware right around the corner -- its got a great vibe and lots of smart people that will walk you through a project, remember your name, stay open late so you can get the part you need (and then didnt even make me pay). I swear I dont work there, I just love the place...it has a feel from a bygone era (not that I would know, Im in my 20s :) . Stadium Hardware is the antidote to Lowes and Home Depot, while Ace is somewhere in between.

I was in here buying a rake and just decided to browse drills as I had been in the market for a new cordless. One of the staff saw me looking at one sale and told me about the kit he thought was the best deal in the store (in fact he said they themselves lose money on it.) I ended up buying the drill he recommended, and upon comparing the price to Amazon realized that I save over $100 buying it at this local store. I would definitely recommend this place - Ill be going back!

Good store if you want to buy things on sale. Kind service. I would give them more starts if the painting department had more competent workers and if they used a better system to mix a specific color of paint from a paint sample. My husband tried for almost 2 years buying few gallons of paint... lot of money lost and they never got it correctly. Until we went to a Sherwin-Williams store and got the right color in 30 min.

Nice little hardware store. A bit expensive sice I think, but they have a lot of fun and interesting home decor items in addition to the typical hardware store offerings. Easy to get in/out, never too busy. The staff are friendly but not always easy to find.
