Corporate Home Depot, You Should Be Ashamed!! My Monday afternoon jaunt here to purchase around $1K in home improvement supplies proved a disaster! So many departments in this place were devoid of help: at one point I literally yelled, "Is anyone working here", but with no response. There was one fellow assigned to lumber who was so overwhelmed with questions concerning other departments that he was unable to address the big mess in his own department (I have to admit that the young lady in hardware ware was a knowledgeable and hard working employee; however, she too was so shouldered with questions concerning other departments that it was difficult for her too concentrated on her own area!). After nearly an hour here (including a lengthy wait at a "Customer Service" also overwhelmed by a lengthy line of disgruntled customers, I left what was in my cart and headed off to nearby Lowes. Folks, it was like entering into a sunny day after wandering in fog in Home Depot: light-filled, well-stocked, and abundant with staff members to assist where they could. It was like having a good meal at Applebees after suffering from an unfulfilled order at Krystals (both of these restaurants are, like Lowes and Home Depot, are chains; but OH my, what a difference!!)! Home Depot, Im afraid, has become a classic example of ignorant corporate masters who have their shriveled nosed so buried in earnings reports that they have become blinded by the extraordinarily poor service that has become so common-place in stores like the one in Fayetteville. I DO NOT BLAME THE EMPLOYEES OR EVEN THE STORE MANAGERS: they appear willing to do a great job. But a goo job is difficult in an inadequately staffed establishment!!!! Its difficult for me to believe that previous ratings of his store are good ones: perhaps corporate has been packing the ballot box with their own press releases. As for me, I would prefer an old-fashioned lumber yard or hardware store; but in the interim, Ill stick to Lowes!! FOLLOW-UP: Nearly all reviews of this store in the past year have been mediocre, at best, and BAD at worst. Obviously, performance has been stopping in this place yet, equally ob.

This was by far one of the worst shopping experiences Ive ever had. I went with my son to buy $360 worth of materials for his eagle scout project. The customer service people looked at us as if we were from Mars when we asked for help. They did get someone to help us...for all of 15 minutes before they called him away. When I talked to a floor supervisor her answer was, " we dont have the assets to be able to do that" and her attitude was pretty much "tough luck chump". Only Joey in paint and nick in lumber seemed to know why they were at work. It took us from 4:30 until 7:30 to get finished. You can pretty much bet that I wont be recommending you stores to anybody, especially any scouts in the flint river boy scout council. And, you can be sure Ive spent my last dollar in your store, especially since Lowes is only two blocks from your store. If it were possible Id give you no stars, but since you seemed to have no trouble taking my money, you get a 1.

Yesterday I shopped for a few items and one that I had selected with great care from a stack if similar items was found to have no bar code or SKU when is got to the register. Long delay while they figured out what to do. Today I shipped for some garden items and other things. They were out of a common item needed for my closet project. The garden manager told me to tell the clerk that he authorized a sale price on 10 bags of soil. Another long delay holding up several shoppers behind me, because the clerk didnt know how to enter it. I was also charged for 9 plants when Ai inky bought 8, and charged for three of one item when I only purchased 2. There was only a skeleton staff in the store on a beautiful day when many people needed help. Apparently Sunday is not a good day to shop Home Depot in Georgia.

3 Times I have made an appointment for a cabinet refacing consultation. 3 times they have cancelled the day of saying there is no-one in my area or saying I didnt confirm the appoint once when I did. As a customer that makes plans to meet with someone and three times in a row his time was wasted I will not be using any of Home Depos home services ever now. I see that as not respecting my time. When shopping in Home Depot for anything else I get OK service.

What the heck HD!!! Come on really? I dont want to look straight on down the endcap to see what aisle it is. By that time, it is redundant! Bad enough I have to chase a employee down to ask what aisle x is on. BTW make a kiosk that has your app on it so I can search your store faster please. Your app crashes and restarts it so many times, I install/uninstall it every time I go. Its faster than standing in line at CS to find where to go.

I am currently in the store and have been waiting for 45 minutes for customer assistance to aisle 17 and have went up to the front for someone to be paged 3x. Still no service. Once the cashier came over and said that our help was on the forklift and would be over shortly. That was 20 min ago. First time at this store and I can guarantee this will be my last!

Mike is awesome thank you

Bought something online, went to pick up in the store. Took 55 minutes. Amy was great! The sarcasm she used when trying to help us through a frustrating experience was expected. Her condescending attitude and lack of concern is the reason why we will continue using this store throughout our renovation.

Thanks for nothing. I waited over 15 min for assistance with a replacement power tool cord and no-one showed up. This is not the first time of non existent customer service at this location. I guess Im headed over to Lowes.

Staff is helpful and store is clean, but you get that vibe that that their watching you to make sure your not stealing anything, a valid concern for a store. However it makes a hostile atmosphere.

Staff here are garbage, they are very rude scumbags at this place. Black and white savages in home depot. Give you an attitude when you ask them for help. Worthless pile of idiots working there.

Hard to find help. Cashier was rude and talked ugly to us. When we walked away from her, she yelled at us. Other staff just stood there and said nothing.
