I am an artist, art student, and elementary teacher, and when I need supplies for my classroom, this is the best place to go when its on the coupon roster. However, finding those items can create a problem. When asking about linoleum blocks to a salesperson, they had no idea what I was talking about (printmaking! p-r-i-n-t-m-a-k-i-n-g!) and told me that they didnt have any. The next time I went, I found that they had their own part of an aisle and that they had MANY materials! None of the people who work here are very knowledgeable about processes and/or materials. The check out lines are also horrific because theres generally only one person working the register at a time. BE SURE TO CHECK THE COUPONS ONLINE BEFORE YOU GO! They have sales changing every week and its good to get the materials you need... if you can find them.

Ive shopped on occasion at this location since they moved into this store. Ive become very discerning about the products I buy there.. Some are fine and some are not. I purchased some pillar candles for an anniversary party. Within a few minutes of lighting them, the candles collapsed in on themselves into a pile of melted wax. It was shocking to see and could have been a hazard had we not had someone at the serving table who noticed it right after they were lit. I have had problems with some of their pre-packaged picture mats not being straight. I had to return these mats on several occasions when it was obvious they were cut improperly and looked crooked in the picture frames. Their employees are generally friendly but read their return policy if youre not sure about an item you are purchasing.

Couldnt disagree more with earlier posts - probably made by store manager! This post is from a customer... This store doesnt have nearly the selection of a Michaels (in fact, when I asked for something, I was told Michaels might have it). Most notably, this store has terrible customer service, particularly at checkout. Its an awful shopping experience, one I will avoid as much as I avoid Saturday at Wal-Mart! I will drive an extra 10 miles - and thats saying something in Atlanta - to spend my money at Michaels. I suggest you also dont waste your time at this Hobby Lobby.

Horrible customer service & staff, manager Tony is crazy Horrible experience - the manager Tony was basically verbally assaulting me when I tried to return a $10 picture frame that his clerk packed with other glass items and it broke by the time I left the parking lot. Manager Tony said he would not refund it under any circumstances, and that once I signed the receipt ... I was the owner and that was that. Amazing ... He started to yell at me in front of customers stating that I had broke it and hes their to enforce policy. STAY AWAY !!!!

Its not what it seems, or tries to be on the surface. If you want a facade of christianity run by less than savory characters behind the scenes, go ahead and support this location. The employees are great to be around, great to work with, but once you hit store manager and up, morality and integrity are the last things that come to mind. Cant say much for the other stores, dont have experience with them.

I go here for last minute sewing supplies as Joanns is a 45min drive from my house and this is 5. Sucks that theyre closed on Sundays, and their prices are pretty high. I also wish the company as a whole would get with the times and be more digital both in the app end and the in-store retail end (check out is always slow).

If they leave old sale signs on they wont honor it like theyre supposed to. a employee by the name of Linda S. Will treat you like youre stealing when it is the stores fault for not updating their signs. The one in Hiram is farther but at least you know you wont be treated like youre stealing.

Fast and friendly checkouts. They are quick to open a new register when several people are in line. If you dont remember your 40% off coupon for a single item, chances are your cashier will let you have one. Or you can download the app and never be without.

Everything is laid out like any other hobby lobby. Seemed that all the staff was towards the front checking out people and if you had questions it was a little difficult to find someone. Though, everyone was helpful and very nice.

Hobby Lobby has just add shoe making classes. Starting with sandals that have a medallion shaped top that is interchangeable with unlimited medallion. Just $45 with your materials included for the price. You cant beat that.
