Avoid this place!!! I scheduled an appt to have my dog groomed a week ahead of time. I scheduled an offer advertised online and verified with the person on the phone which services we wanted. When I got in, the girl asked me which services I wanted. I told her the special advertised online. She continued to ask me the same question. I asked her to look it up online to see the list under the special. She replied, "I work here. I dont have to look online". I said "ok then just give her the services listed under the special". At that time the phone rang and she answered. She stayed on the phone for several minutes. During her phone call I asked for a manager to address the situation. The manager came while the girl was still on the phone. I told her the situation. She said the girl does not have access to the Internet from her computer. The girl got off the phone and her tone completely changed. I mentioned that to the manager as well. The manager replied, "they have been busy here so I can understand if they are stressed", excusing the girls behavior. The manager tried to use her cell phone to look up the special. After waiting several more minutes, her phone never loaded the website. I then left. You would think that the employees offering the services would be keen as to what is included in their special offers. You would think that they would have access to their specials. These people are too stressed, unknowledgable, and incapable for me to leave my dog with them!

I originally went to this PetSmart about a year ago to get my daughter a fish tank. She saved up her money for a year to get a 20-gal tank with all the bells and whistles. We talked to the guy in the fish section who was super helpful with letting us know what we needed and how to care for the tank. We came in several times over the next six months or so, and he was almost always there, answering more questions and helping us with issues that popped up with the tank. Sometimes, we even just came for another fish, and he would always suggest ones that were compatible with the ones we already had. When we moved, he even helped us find a good way to transport the fish to cause the least amount of shock to them. A year later, we still have nine fish and a snail (we originally bought 7 fish), and I feel like I finally graduated beginner fish care. Thank you so much, PetSmart employee (whos name I never remember, even though I ask every time). He deserves recognition for going wayyyy above and beyond!

My husband and I went shopping for our 2 little girls today and found a sign that said 90% of Pet Holiday items. So we found a few things we liked and bought them at the register. However the items werent 90% like advertised. After we bought the items we asked the cashier why they didnt ring up what we thought the prices would be and she said they were already on clearance for a while. They just took 15% off on the clearance price. My husband and I were clearly upset with this because its false advertising and we didnt want others to get cheated like we did. We called corporate to complain about the false advertisement which led to a very rude manager who completely hung up on my husband while he was still talking. I will never shop at PetSmart ever again and all my friends and family will know as well not to shop there! Ive never heard of such rude people in my life!

Ive been taking my Shar-pei there to get their nails ground for over a year and they get the job done. But today they got my dog so anxious that he hurt himself while they fumbled around because they are scared of dogs. When another groomer saw my dog struggling from the leash they put around his neck that we told them he didnt like, he asked the woman who had my dog if he tried to bite her face and she said yes. I was watching the whole thing and heard this to which I yelled at them that he DID NOT try to bite her face. They finished one paw and bailed saying he was too stressed to finish. We had to stand in line to get our money refunded. Shar-pei are big teddy bears and not aggressive. If you are scared of 50 lb. dogs, then I suggest you find another profession.

I dont know what Alesha is talking about, but Ive taken my huskies to the grooming salon and Jeff did a great job washing them. The salon was very clean and the other employees were very polite. The salon is top-notch compared to any salon Ive ever been to. There will always be dog hair on the floor especially if the groomer is done shaving down a dog to give em a bath. Thats a high volume salon, so they do clean up after each pet or else theyll just create a mountain full of dog hair in no time. Equipments is cleaned quite often in ways people like Alesha wouldnt be able to notice. I take my dogs over to the Banfield as well, and the ladies there are very sweet. Ill be coming back as long as I live in Augusta.

Awful groomers. I brought my pup in for her puppy bath appointment and they tried to tell me I didnt have an appointment and they were fully booked. After complaining that I drove out there specifically for the appt, they "found" our appt under someone elses name. I handed over my pup and they told me she would be ready in 4 hours. It does not take 4 hours to bathe a 3 lb chihuahua! Basically, I made an appt for them to lock my puppy in a cage for 4 hours until they could get around to bathing her. I took my pup back and walked out. Petsmart obviously has little respect for pets and their owners. I will be going to petco for all of my pets things now.

I dont usually write reviews, but today we hit our limit. We scheduled a grooming appointment for our dog and the time and groomer were changed without our knowledge. Then when we did take our dog to be groomed they said she became aggressive and so we should have selected a female groomer and a less busy time. Our dog has never been aggressive and we had originally set up our appointment with both of those things in mind and they changed it. This is also not the first time this has happened as i have driven all the way over only to find our appointment had been lost or changed.

Wash and nail cut cost $40, which was more than planned, but she smells and looks good. It also took 3hrs and 30 mins from the start of her appointment, and we were not given a time estimate which was fruatrating. However, my biggest issue is that they hurt my dog, did not tell me, and would not admit blame. It was a 4 inch cut on her inner thigh that had bleed kind of like a skinned up knee. They did offer their vet service for free, but it was not bad enough to warrant driving all the way back. Had I known about it before I left I probably would have had it looked at.

I always take my dog to the Petsmart on Washington road and have had no problem at that location, but I have moved and this one is now closer. Went in to get his nails trimmed like normal and his rabies had expired since his last visit, but had been updated months ago. The girl would not even call the vet to confirm and refused to trim his nails. She said I could take him the the vet that is in this store, but did not know pricing and the vet area was chaos with people waiting and the staff not being efficient. Will not be returning here for services ever.
