Love, love, love, this wonderful store! My first experience there was 5 years ago. I was grasping for a food my dear Bella (Golden) would eat as she was suffering from Renal failure. Donna suggested Primal frozen raw lamb bites, and as it was, turned out Bella loved them and ate them exclusively for the rest of what was left of her life. Donnas empathy, knowledge, and patience with my questions have had a positively lasting impact on my belief in natural foods for our pets, and the staffs extensive knowledge base of their products. They are friendly, never rude, and the store has NO odor when entering(to counter other posted reviews!) Carla, Donna, Debbie, and Karen and amazing- I give them a resounding 5 stars! So now with 2 Goldens and 2 rescued cats, Munchies is my go-to place!

My daughter Laurie had a sick boxer last June when she moved back into the area. Her vet told her that the dog had cancer and would not survive in the next 30 days. Laurie spoke to the owner at Munchies and she provided some sample food for Madison to eat. She ended up liking the Zignature Turkey Formula. She also recommended Natures Variety Instinct Raw Chicken bites to use for taking her pills each day. As of January 26th 2016 Madison has done very well with the food. We know in time her cancer will do her in, however we have no doubt, Munchies Natural Pet Foods has helped extend her life. We strongly recommend you try this store for all your pets needs. They are wonderful people to deal with.

Ive been going to the Oldsmar location for at least a few of years now. The choice of products is awesome,the staff is amazing & the store is always clean & organized. Quite often Ive gone in for help in maintaining great health for my Yorkie & have always been assisted in an extremely pleasant & knowledgeable way. I dont think Ive personally asked a question that wasnt answered with multiple choices for me to make toward a good result. I highly suggest Munchies for your pet needs. I drive out of my way to go there because my dog Roscoe deserves the best, & I feel they are just that! Thank you ladies!

I have shopped at Munchies for the past 3 years and all of the advice Ive received from the manager and owner have been validated by several vets and trainers. In fact the food I feed my dogs, my vet feeds to his dog too. As to the comment from deuces and bellas mom about the smell in the store is totally absurd. The only odor you smell is that of vitamins which are located in the front of the store. Foods are always rotated so theres no chance of rotten food anywhere in this store. We love Munchies! Carla, Donna, and the staff are very friendly & knowledgeable about their products. They have no problem ordering something for you that they may not have in stock, which rarely happens. We are so grateful that their raw dog food Primal is the lowest price we have seen in the area. They always remind us to give them our Primal card to mark off our purchases and when its full we get 1 bag free!! Thats a $35 savings!! Thanks Munchies. :)

the first thing i noticed when i walked into munchies was the smell. It smelled horrible like bad rotten food. The food selectuion is ok, they have some brands that are great and they also carry alot of brands that have been bought out. Which makes me believe they do not do their homework on the foods. The older skinny women is kind of rude. Overall, I would not come back to this store due to the lack of customer service and knowledge about food,

Firearm Fanatics

VERY rude and argumentive woman when I called and then again when I made it to the store. Asked if they had my dog food in stock as to not make the 30 minute each way drive and she told me they have it all in stock. Wasnt there when I made the drive. Then wouldnt give me her name when I asked. She even threatened me with "I know who you are" motioning to all my info stored in the system. I cant wait to talk to Carla, the owner tomorrow.

Ive been going to Munchies for around 2 years now. I get all of our food and treats here. Sometimes youll find USDA Organic treats too! The store is fairly large for a natural pet store, at least compared to others I have been. Service is friendly, no complaints there. Im in and out in a few minutes since I know what I want.

Weve been going to Muchies (Oldsmar) ever since we got Frank, our labradoodle. He has a sensitive belly; they suggested a food and hes been good to go ever since. Same prices as big pet stores with great customer service and product knowledge. I always try and support local. Check out Muchies, you wont be disappointed.

Highly over priced and horrible customer service. I walked in no one greeted me just stared at me. I was looking for a seasonal allergy relief product. They had one selection and it was $18 for a small bag of chews that are sold elsewhere for $10. I will not return based off of the poor service.

I went in once. I was ignored as I needed help for my first 10 minutes in this tiny store. The lady behind the counter was rude, arrogant and not very helpful except to say thay all food offered elsewhere was horrible for my dog. The experience I had there reminded me of why I go to Petsmart.

Munchies is a great little pet store for your dog and car needs. We have been getting dog and cat food here for years. They have a helpful and friendly staff. They stock the best brands of food as well as many pet accessories. Definitely worth a visit.
