I went to Belk last week. I was interested in sandals you had on sale. The disappointing thing is customer service. I needed to see if u had a shoe in my size and I went up to register to inquire and the black person working did not acknowledge my presence. Went to help this other lady before me and never came back. So another black associate came to register totally ignoring my presence went over to help an asian woman. okay, I was next. By now Im pinching myself to make sure I hadnt died and gone to heaven. So, I put shoes down and left and went upstairs to the linens dept to inquire about feather and down pillows. There was a black associate at the register on the phone. Im standing by register talkn to my daughter and watchn her at the same time. She gets off the phone and ignored our presence. So, Im like, what in the world going on with customer service. im ready to spend money. Is this Ignore Blacks National Retail Day or what. I majored in Fashion Merchandising and my daughter is currently too and she was surprised at how the lady just walked off as though we were not standing there. I took my money elsewhere.

Unfortunately we have lost our receipt for our shopping on this trip on Saturday June 10th 2017, but we wanted to specifically commend a sales lady named Sheryl / Cheryl? who was working in the housewares/bedding/luggage area. She was simply amazing. She knew all about the products stocked, answered our questions, never stopped smiling and was great fun to talk with, managed multiple customer enquiries at once, helped out the other staff working, and processed our huge pile of shopping quickly and efficiently. There are some truly sad comments on here about customer service in this store - I really hope the manager sees this and makes a point of thanking Sheryl as she is a credit to the store. We loved shopping here, and found the selection of menswear and housewares was a great range of stuff at really good prices. Thank you so much and best wishes.

I have been a loyal Belk customer for many years both here and in other locations. I was in the lingerie dept on a quiet weekday afternoon. There were at least two clerks in the department and the only time I was spoken to was when I interrupted their conversation to ask a question. While I dont like being followed around by sales staff, I also dont appreciate being ignored. Employees need to be trained in better customer service. Take a tip from publix! Selection in this store is pretty good. And I do like the location and parking options.

Took approximately 10 minutes to find an associate who never looked me in the eye. I asked if they carried size 14 shoes. He said "no" bluntly and walked away. I followed him to ask a few more questions one of which was where their big and tall section was or if sizes were mixed in. I received another blunt "we dont have one." So if you are over 6 feet tall or 220 pounds - dont shop here. And if their associates are that busy that they cannot interact then they should hire more people.

It was hard to reach out physically, finding a parking spot is difficult in here. Its a well maintained (appearance), well stocked and provides exceptional customer service! Which makes the trip worth it. Associates are friendly and have updated product knowledge. I shopped online with them and my experience so far is great with them.

Horrible Customer Service at @Belk @LancomeUSA booth @ShopPhippsPlaza #Atlanta. Staff (3! standing only 12 feet away..) completely ignored us for almost 10 minutes. Went to Lancome booth at Macys (Lennox Mall) and service was great.

Wished you were in California. Stopped by and this location is top shelf compared to Brunswick, GA location we discovered last year while on the road. Great choice of clothing from private brands to Tommy Bahama.

Sales are awesome. The alterations dept could do a WHOLE LOT better! They need to make sure the customer gets what he/she wants. This dept needs better representation of the belk sales experience.
