I worked at this location when i was younger for almost damn near 3 years. I tryed going back to them and James Rooker is now the store manager and when i tryed to reapply. I went in after i put in my aplication again to talk to him and explained i worked here yada yada. Well he said ok well let me wait for your app to come through and ill call you, so i waited. I get a phone call from him telling me to come in for the interview,him not remembering me, i said ok. I get there and he sees me and says oh its you" in a bad way and says in other words were not hireing, no interview or anything. I should have sued them for discrimination but im better than they are. Rooker is a POS. My Job i have now is making more than him as an SM and a regular part timer combined. THEY PAY THERE EMPLOYEES SHT AND HAVE LOW HOURS TO RUN THE STORE FOR THE WEEK SO HE CAN MAKE A BONUS AT THE END OF THE YEAR. Customers, expect long waiting times and bad service due to not having enough workers to do the job. People thinking about working here part time, You cant live off of minimum wage and expect to work less than 18 hours a week. Managers get anout 32 hours average and get a dollar raise when they become a manager. STAY AWAY!!!...

I was on vacation when my starter died. I ordered the part online for in store pickup from this location with intention of renting tools to do the install. When I arrived 15 minutes later my starter was already sitting by the register ready to go, but I was informed that they dont rent basic tools, only specialty ones, so I would have to purchase a set. Bummer, but it had to be done. Upon checkout, they gave me substantial discount on the tools to ease the pain. Then thay help me carry my purchase out.

Autozone has been my favorite auto parts store for the past 20 years. Ive been to every location in Jacksonville. They need to get rid of the staff and management at this location. If I wasnt familiar with the quality of service Auto zone normally provided I wouldnt do business with them again, ever. The lack of caring, the incompetence, rudeness, Ive seen it all at this location. If not for the prices and good warranties, I wouldnt go back.

Customer service was excellent. Saved us from having a miserable trip and having to leave our boat overnight when we live in Gainesville. Husband is very particular but was very satisifed and impreseed with the service. Staff stayed past 9 pm to complete transaction for us. Wish we had asked for service providers names to give them props. Thank you staff from 7/1 evening.

There is an entrance for wheelchairs it has a very wide Glassdoor. They have motor oil car parts and lots of other items that are useful for General mechanics also oil and other lubricants and adhesives and paint and window windshield wipers and tools

AutoZone came through with a special order part that was an emergency (brake caliper)... I ordered it on a Saturday and it was available to pick up on Sunday. Nobody else in town could get it for days. Great service, low price and good quality parts.

Roy B. tested my battery and confirmed it needed to be replaced. Then he shared with my a few different choices of batteries. After I chose one he replaced it for me. I appreciated Roys honesty, professional, and friendliness!

This store is poorly managed. The staff is not trained and is very unprofessional. I purchased a battery from auto zone and 3 months later it went bad. I tried to get them to honor the warranty and the staff refused to help me.
