Keep It A Buck

Will only be going back if something goes awry with the bike or it involves the warranty. For all other issues/repairs, we will be visiting a different bike shop. The younger, chubbier guy with the full-faced beard and usually wearing a hat, is not friendly at all. He seems to have an attitude when you need customer service and makes you not want to ask him anything. Very uninviting. Youll be lucky if he even greets you or speaks to you at all while youre in the store. I guess you just have to catch him on a good day, but weve been multiple times and the result is pretty much the same every time. As far as servicing bicycles, there is no issue; these guys know what theyre doing and do so in a timely manner. Its just the demeanor of the guy described above which can severely impact a customers experience, as it has my own.

The owner , is very friendly when I asked him a question a couple weeks ago he was very honest with me about it. Thank you Joe For its people like you that keep small businesses alive. PS also sells all the accessories you may need for any type of riding. I am adding this review because of the overwhelming response we got from this post. As I live on Balm Boyette Road my eyes are always open for a bicyclist and Im glad to see this state is finally making a place safe for you to ride on. Im sure as bicyclist you have been in this shot before and you know how friendly Joe is in the amount of accessories and merchandise that he carries. I have visited this location 2 times now, both times it has been an exceptional experience. This is the type of service everyone talks about missing from the good old days, yet when its time to shop we go to walmart to save a few lousy bucks or even worse shop on amazon, with no service at all, and than have the nerve to call great places like this to ask for advice. If you need your bike fixed quickly or need accessories for your bike this is the place to go. They have a beautiful building, and great inventory.

I was traveling to Tampa for a couple days and rented a mountain bike from Just Ride Bicycles. The bike was a TREK Marlin 5 19.5 in great shape, no complaints at all. I received excellent customer service, they even accommodated me when I was running late by keeping the store open for an extra 15 minutes! Thank you Jeremy! Their rental rate was reasonable compared to other bike stores in the area. Also, Just Ride Bicycles is a short drive from Alafia State Park, one of Floridas best Mountain biking trails.

Maybe I went in on the wrong day but the customer service was horrible. I was only acknowledged when I was leaving the shop. If you arent experienced enough to know exactly what you want or if you are looking for answers then I wouldnt buy from this shop. If you know what you want already then you will be fine or you can find it online. But Im my opinion the only reason to shop at brick and mortar stores is for customer service and this shop doesnt have it.

Im literally sitting in this shop and every customer or phone call that comes in I get pushed to the side. The one sale person had an issue with helping me and or working period. He had an attitude with everything he did. My current mountain bike is 9 years and Im in need of a new one, unfortunately his awnsers were short and u informative. The experience was extremely unpleasant. It was the first time visiting the shop and the last. Im sticking with AJs.

Just Ride Bikes is a Great bike shop with a great owner. I have purchased several bikes from Just Rides and Joe has treated me and the family great. Very knowledgeable and stands by his products. I have never had a bad experience here and neither will you. So far I have purchased a road bike and three mountain. Ikes for the family and each time I have entered I have left happy. When you go in, your probably talking to the owner, Joe. Hes worked on my custom high end bikes and did a great job. Ive purchased a Trek for one of my daughters and felt like it was built and sold by an honest biker who cares about his customers. I will and have suggested him to my friends and neighbors for anything concerning a bike.

This place is great. Ive purchased 4 bikes from them and have had plenty of service done. Both Road cycling and MTBing are not inexpensive sports to get into but JRBs prices have been on par or even a little less than the local competition. Great advice and no "hard sells."

They were somewhat deceitful in their estimate and led me to believe the cost for a bike repair would be lower than it actually was (cost turned out to be double). Completed the repair quickly but as I said, cost was double what they quoted me.
