I bought an 07 Chevy Colorado from them for $13,408.00. The test drive went smooth and Robbie said it was because he put in a new timing chain. I drove it to Melbourne where I live. A day later it started to stall at lights. I took it to Rosner Chevrolet in Melbourne who checked out the entire vehicle. They told me that the computer was showing codes and the reason I didnt know was because someone had removed the bulb for the check engine light(which is illegal). I took it to Robbie to put in a new thermostat, fix a seat belt, and look over the car. He said he couldnt get it to stall on him and he assured me that he would replace the module with the burnt bulb and would call me as soon as it came in. I worried about the motor and Lori said that if I got the outside extended warranty that they would pay for it. She showed me a letter on her wall from an individual that claimed ASC Warranty had paid for the repairs on their vehicle. I purchased the Deluxe ASC Warranty for $500.00. It was for 90 days or 3000 miles. I drove the vehicle home and it stalled again on the way to my house. I took it to a friend at Midas who told me that the timing chain was the problem. He called ASC Warranty and they would only pay for a small portion so he couldnt do the job unless I paid for it myself. After making phone calls to other mechanics in town, I was told that no one would do the work through the ASC Warranty out of fear of not getting paid. I called Lori who said that her mechanic would do it. I took the vehicle back to them and they had it for 3 weeks. I finally got it back and because of the distance Robbie met me in Vero Beach. Everything was fine and I called Robbie to ask about the check engine light and he told me he forgot to order it. He again, said he would call me when it came in. 3 months later the vehicle started stalling again. I got it checked out and found out that it was giving the same code as before. I called and talked to Robbie and they said that because of the time that elapsed and the amount of miles on the car, they could not help me. The mechanic they used didnt warranty his labor or his parts even though ASC had paid him $950.00. I took it back to My friend Alf at Midas who looked over the vehicle and told me that it was definitely the timing chain. After borrowing $2800.00 from friends and my employer I was able to finally get the work done. Coastal Auto Ranch refused to pay for any of it. I had my mechanic take pictures and give me all of the old parts. He showed me that the track that the timing chain rides on was worn down to the metal. He also showed me how they filled up the motor with silicone. It was even clogging the oil filter. He also showed me where the old mechanic left a loose bolt. This bolt is important because when tight it causes the oil pressure to put tension on the tensioner which keeps the timing chain tight. The tracks, the timing chain, and the tensioner all had to be replaced. I called Coastal Auto Ranch and they never returned my call. I sent Lori an email and she says that it was my fault for not doing my homework on the vehicle that I purchased. I know I couldnt do homework on them because theyre not even registered with the BBB, though I have now requested that the BBB do a report on them. Lori also claims in the email that she tried to get me into one of the other vehicles which never happened. The only help that Robbie gave was to trade in the vehicle for one of his other ones and put down another large deposit. I feel they already spent enough of my money. I still never got the check engine bulb replaced by Robbie and in the midst of all of this mess I found out that I have no heater and my vents were filled with glass. I also have found that someone cut the wires to the fog lights, the Body Control Module is bad, and the passenger side air bag will not come on. They have basically told me that I will have to take them to court. If youre thinking of buying a vehicle from them you should run instead.

I thought this would be a great experience, but it wasnt. The customer service was okay at first. But I was told upfront if I have no intention of purchasing a vehicle I wouldnt be able to test drive their vehicle. This is not my first time purchasing a vehicle and therefore know the procedure of shopping. However, when I was told Lori I am interested, she then offered me to look at the car but I felt she was hesitant to take it off the lot. I then told her I would come back with my husband on Saturday because I was on a break from work and the temperature was very hot. My husband and I drove their Saturday morning to test drive the car, Scott took our information then came back stating that they need to get an approval before they would allow us to test drove the care. Basically, make a long story short, I felt they were discriminating because of our race and this would have not happen to anyone else if they werent Black. This is the first time in my life I have ever felt this way. I would not purchase any vehicle from this place or recommend anyone. They need to be reported for their unprofessional behavior and discrimination.

I went into Coastal Auto Ranch after visiting a few other dealerships, and quickly realized I had wasted my time at other places. I went in thinking I was going to buy one of their mini vans, but after discussing my expectations with Lori, we were able to find a SUV that fit my needs more sufficiently. I have had my Volvo for 2 years now, and she still runs amazing! I actually got such a good deal on my car, I could sell it today for what I paid for it 2 years ago! Furthermore, the financing was easy, and their online payments were very convenient as I am not a permanent resident of Florida. The whole process of finding my car, financing and registration/insurance took less than two hours. So if you need a car, I definitely recommend going to see Lori and her staff!

I had a great experience with Coastal Auto Ranch. They were very helpful & friendly when I went in there. No hard sales tactics, didnt try to sell me on a more expensive vehicle (I had a specific truck in mind, and they had it, so I knew which one I wanted before I went there), Lori worked hard on getting me the best deal on financing she could with my credit, and they gave me a fair price on my trade in. An overall pleasant truck buying experience...the best I have ever had to be perfectly honest. I will definitely send any business their way that I can and I would highly recommend them to anyone reading this. The truck I bought runs great and looks good. Ill be keeping it for a while, but when Im ready for another change, Ill be going back to C.A.R.
