I came to this Ulta yesterday with my friend to show her what brow/ face cosmetics I love from higher end brands. We were kindly greeted by a manager as soon as we came in the doors. We were also offered prompt directions inside the prestige cosmetics side of the store. It was impressive service. They had a lot of disposable applicators on hand for us to test out things like the ABH dip brows and eye brow gels. It was also great to try the new line of Benefit eye brow products as this location had tons of testers stocked. Later another girl who worked in that department came to help all the girls browsing the area. We had fun talking makeup with her and the other customers and the worker ended up helping me find an amazing new foundation from Too Faced she uses herself. Me and my friend ended up spending a lot on brow and face products but the advice from this employee made us so glad we splurged. At the end a cashier named Kristina was super sweet and gave me a birthday present from Urban Decay- a full sized eye shadow in Midnight Cowboy as well as double the ultamate rewards points from my purchase. A super clean, well stocked makeup store with friendly and knowledgable sales people who love talking makeup? You have a new returning customer!

I was in town for a wedding, made an appointment for noon to get my hair done. I showed up early and by early I mean only 10 mins early. Was asked if I had an appointment and I said yes told them my name and she goes oh okay youre a little early so just sit and we will be with you. The reason for the statement is because someone over booked and basically they didnt really have a spot for me and their other appointments that were their regulars were taken over me when those people showed up after me. I sat in a "salon chair" for almost an hour till I was even shampooed. Multiple employees did my hair and no one really seemed to care that possibly I might have some where to be like a wedding. One of the girls was apologetic and gave me a discount, which of course was nice but still wasnt a pleasant experience. Luckily my ulta that I go to in eldersburg MD is the total opposite in every aspect.

Like other reviewers I am NOT one to do a review. I am sitting in my car writing this after walking out of this location. Do not expect anyone to help you here. I walked into the store and was greeted by the cashier and thats it. There were two ladies in the makeup section gossiping having a good old conversation for a very brief moment and then they were gone. I came to this store because I needed to buy a good foundation and I dont know anything about anything when it comes to makeup. I stood in the makeup section for 20 minutes and not one person asked me if I needed help. There wasnt even anybody IN the makeup section the whole time I was there. Ive worked in a lot of retail stores and customer service always comes first but dont come here if thats what you need. I will stick to the Ulta in Aventura. They actually CARE about helping their customers.

Worst Ulta Ive ever been to and thats been a true statement since 2008. I spent 20 mins looking for the Mario Badescu items because of two reasons. The first being a manager walked by me 3 or 4 times, didnt ask me if I needed help or anything. Finally, when I did ask someone, she didnt even know what brand I was talking about. So I finally get around to finding where the Mario Badescu items are and both of the items that are out are opened and used. Disgusting. The other items I picked out were already opened as well, so after 7 years of trying this store I put my stuff down and walked out. Ulta is great sometimes but this store is straight trash.

Lets be clear I dont normally write reviews; however I had the worst customer service ever. I walked into the store looking for foundation, and even after 15 minutes of browsing no one offered to help me. Even those I tried to stop and ask for help completely ignored me. I will be clear I have worked in the cosmetic industry before, inducing Ulta, and I know this kind of service would not work at any location Ive worked at. I am here visiting so I dont have to deal with this location, but for those who do Im sorry your better off finding another place to shop.

I called to make an appointment with the salon, and when the woman answered the phone, she said, "Ulta" in a short and rude tone. I said to her, "Can I make an appointment with the salon?" and she replied "uh yes?" then I said to her, "I wasnt sure if this was the salon because you didnt specify when you answered." Her response to me was, "um okay this is the salon." I ended up hanging up on this woman. Someone should train the salon staff in communication and hospitality.

After making my appointment with a month in advance for hair style and make up the person in charge of attending me never arrived, luckily was a seller of SMASHBOX there, and was that one who attended me, the makeup was acceptable, anyways one manager need to retouch in the end ... The hairstyle was normal for the price, in conclusion my visit to ULTA was stressful and I arrived late to the wedding ... I do not recommend this shop for those services ...

Honestly its hard to review Ulta...the extreme love of the products can blind one about the possible down sides. Sup, putting aside the fact that Ulta is Mecca... this Ulta was fine. However, when I pointed out that one of the sample mascaras had turned And should be removed from the display, the woman I spoke to didnt seem to understand English. On the other hand the girl who did my friends hair was wonderful.

This store is ok. Its more sophisticated than Walgreens, but less sophisticated and organized than Sephora. I go here for Mario Badescu facial care and Shea Moisture products. They have a good selection of designer fragrances, and you can browse without aggressive salespeople. I do wish they opened before 10 am. Theres a salon inside, and they do facials and makeup there too. The customer service is okay.

They never answer their phone, no matter how many times you call them. I put something on hold the one time they decided to answer and they gave away my product to someone else despite me holding it for the day. It was a wasted trip and trying to get a hold of them for anything else is a wasted effort.

This location is the closest Ulta to me. The shelves always seem to be empty. They never have the shades of makeup I am looking for. The customer service is HORRIBLE!!! They are RUDE!!! It is a waste of time coming to this Ulta.
