I have been a long time Badcock customer. I think because they sponsored my little league team growing up. In May of 15 I purchased a bedroom suit and a coach and recliner. The coach with just me sitting on it no kids jumping on it. last about a year and a half before literally falling apart the press board/chip board they used started breaking everywhere. So I decided to replace it and figured I would spend more money and get something better. So I looked around and found myself buying from Badcock of Callaway. Scheduled delivery for November 17th they showed up with just the coach stated the love seat was damaged in shipping but that they would call and deliver one the following Saturday or Monday. I never heard from them. I called them on Black Friday and the gentleman on the phone was very polite and offered me a 10% discount on the most expensive piece and scheduled delivery for Thursday, December 1st between 10 am and 2 pm. At 12 I had not heard anything from them so I called to confirm delivery and was assured they would be there but they were running just a little behind. 4:30 pm rolls around and still have not seen or heard from anyone. So I started trying to get in touch with someone at the store. They were not answering the phone and would simply let it go to voice mail so I finally gave up and left a message at 5:45pm. Around 6:15 pm I get a call from the driver who states they still have 5 deliveries but that they will deliver the loveseat. Finally at 8:30 PM they arrive and deliver it. The delivery guys were awesome. They told me that unlike what the girl had told me earlier that they didnt even have my stuff in the truck and they hadnt started making any deliveries until 6:00 pm that day. So I have a completely wasted day sitting and waiting on them. All it would have taken was a phone call to let me know it would have been later in the evening then I could have ran my errands and got something accomplished. The Callaway Badcock was by far the worst experience I have ever had spending $2000 dollars.

Absolutely awful, late delivery, delivered ripped furniture, missed deliveries, and more ripped furniture. To top it all off, when trying to find out why my deliveries were missed, I was given attitude, no answer, complete disrespect. I not only received disrespectful comments from the employees but from the owner of this particular store. They treated me so badly I had to have the corporate office transfer me to another Badcock location, so I never had to call them again. They lie to you, roll their eyes at you, and try to make their own mistakes your fault. Have never had such bad customer service in my entire life. Ive never had to call a corporate office and Ive never seen a business owner treat a paying customer with such impudence. I was delivered to completely ripped up couches, one with metal sticking out of it, looking like someone cut it with a razor blade. I would not recommend this store to anyone, please save your self the biggest hassle, just go to the Lynn Haven location!

Have been buying from Badcocks for years. Started with a low credit line and never missed a payment, and never been late. The idea is to use credit, pay excellent, get an increase to buy more things. The old manager Martell would look at my excellent payment history and let me get things I needed. I went in today to get new furniture and was told he no longer works there. I wanted a bedroom suit for 1600. I have 1000 available credit. She said she would have to do a hard pull and check my credit through the bureaus to see if she could extend my credit. I said no thank you because I am extremely careful with my credit and I dont want my score to drop because of an inquiry, even if it is by just a few points. Credit is always extended based on your payment history with a certain company, and they should not do hard pulls and check your credit everytime you need a small increase. I will pay off my remaining balance and never buy another item from here again.

Bought lift recliner straight cash & it started making clicking noises when opening & closing within 2 to 3 months after purchase. Called store & they came out & picked up chair to see about repairing it & then brought it back stating parts needed to be ordered for repair. After over 5 months of waiting for parts & calling them to check status, they finally are going to swap for new chair (this is after I screamed & hollered & after I told them I was going to call corp location). We will see how this goes as they wont swap out chairs for another 5 days or so). Wonder it it had been on pymt plan instead of outright paying for it if I would have still had as much problems?

Bought a recliner and have had to bring it back 4 times. They made it sound like we dont take care of our furniture. Last time they had to replace a bolt and put the wrong bolt in. I even pointed it out and made sure I wasnt going to have a problem since it is the wrong bolt. Now the recliner is making a clicking noise since it is the wrong bolt. Now we have to take it back and they said they are going to replace the mechanism. I tried to explain that it is not the problem and they are still going to order it. This place is horrible and will never go back to buy anything there again.

Went to buy a recliner and the two women working acted like I was bothering them. The one lady who did acknowledge us walked off and left, so asked for help from the woman at the counter and was told she didnt know anything about them. Finally she did walk over couldnt find remote to the chair. We left and bought a recliner from American Freight, customer service was great!

Summer my sales woman was wonderful and helped me a lot on initial purchase. Twice now have not delivered 3 pieces as promised. Took off work both times to be here and not even a phone call to tell me wont be able to make it. Had to call in to check on. Hope I dont have to make first payment before get all my furniture.
