UPDATE 10/5/2015 - I finally received my couch after waiting a total of 39 days since the purchase date. I AM STILL NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AT ALL. In my last post I noted that I was supposed to receive a phone call on Wednesday (9-30). I didnt hear anything on Wednesday or Thursday so I waited until Friday (10-2) and I actually had to call the store manager and find out what was taking so long. They offered me $50 off to compensate me for 5 Week wait time. I asked that they simply pay for the couch to be delivered and call it even. I was told "that isnt possible because they use a 3rd party to deliver and it would cost $70". I asked if they could pay the $70 fee and I was told "they were only approved to give a $50 payment back". I asked them to contact whoever they needed to contact and get approval for $70 instead. They were able to "get approved" for the $70 amount but still said that they had to refund me directly and I had to pay the delivery guys in cash. I dont understand at all why they couldnt pay the delivery company directly and instead made me pay them in cash. The delivery truck showed up yesterday (10-4). I had $80 in cash and asked for a $10 bill back. The delivery guys did not have a $10 bill and told me that I would have to get the extra $10 back from American Freight. When I called today to give them my credit card number for the $70+$10 they told me they would only be giving me $70 and not the $80 that I actually had to pay for the delivery. To sum up this entire experience so far I would have to say it has been POOR at best. I would truly like to speak with the regional manager or someone higher in the organization than the Store Manager because I feel like I was still shorted on this whole scenario. Please contact me ASAP to discuss. Thank you 9/28/15 - I just bought a house and needed some furniture for the living room. I went and bought a nice leather couch and loveseat from this American Freight for a great price. I was told they needed to order it which would take 1-2 weeks which was fine because I couldnt move into my house for another 3 weeks. At almost exactly the 3 week mark I went to go pick up the couch and loveseat and apparently there was a mistake made by someone at American Freight and they ordered two loveseats instead of a coach and loveseat. At this point I was told it would take another 10 days to order and receive the couch. I called yesterday (which was the 10 day mark) and the couch was still not ordered. I understand that mistakes happen and I was very pleased with my order up until the point that the couch wasnt order. Today is day 33 since I purchased the couch and loveseat. I have had a half empty living room for 2 weeks now and I am hoping that American Freight can make things right somehow. I am supposed to talk to the Store Manager on Wednesday (9-30-15) As long as everything goes well after that phone call I will be happy to change my "disliked it" rating to a "loved it" rating and update this comment to include what all was done to compensate me for this mistake.

Never buy from these people...I cant believe you can pay $800 cash for a sectional that was junk as soon as you get it home. The cushions are all flattened with no stuffing in them. This couch is like sitting on boards everywhere you try to set. It was like this when I got it home and unwrapped it. I called them and they would not let me return it and had me send pictures and they would send it to manufacture. So I purchased this on 6/22/15 , it is going on 2 months and still setting on boards, Family and grand kids cant find a place in this couch to set with out setting on boards, Son came in when I got it and asked if it was used. It was wrapped in plastic so I couldnt see it until I got it home. I sold my recliner and other couch and I am forced to set on this every night. My living room is small and cant add other furniture until this is gone....... I am at the point where I dont even want to set and watch a movie because I have no where to set. I never signed their paper to be signed and was never to about no returns for junk. If I dont hear something this week, I will spend 65.00 and file small claims on american freight company. All you other people can do that too. i used to work at a vet clinic and my job was filing small claims on her behalf. I have original receipt that was never signed and date I sent pictures and the damage sectional they sold me. So just another option for you people that they dont care about and take your money knowing they sold you junk. Also If they dont make this right with me I will make sure all of social media that I can get to will know what a rip off place this is. They advertise a lot on craigslist and other places, if they cant stand behind their product, they should not sell it.... I am very upset and want comfortable decent furniture that I thought I was getting. Not months from when I bought it but now.....

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. THEY SUCK! I wish I could rate this place in negative stars! This place is just trashy through and through. The sales associates make you wait and most of them cussed, even dropping "f" bombs just in casual conversation with us. There furniture is definitely cheap, but if they do not have it in stock go elsewhere. We purchased a couch and then it didnt quite fit, so we had to send it back and then you are forced to try a different couch or wait 30 days to become eligible for a refund. We didnt feel like waiting 30 days for the refund, so we tried another couch. The couch was not in stock and had to be ordered. We were promised our couch in two days, then it turned into next week, then in two weeks, then the following week. Needless to say, it never came in and everytime my wife called and inquired on it they acted like they knew nothing of it. Like I said, you then have to wait 30 days from the date of purchase in order to get your refund. What a stupid policy and a major hassle! Oh and if your furiture doesnt fit when it is delivered you have to pay that delivery fee and if you happened to get a different piece you will be charged for a 2nd delivery charge for the new piece. If you want cheap furniture by all means go there, but just know that if it is not in stock you will probably run into issues. I will never do business there again and will tell all my friends and family to shop elsewhere. Thanks to Art Van we have a new couch and there was no hassle at all, and I would not be surprised if we have a better quality couch as well. I HATE YOU AMERICAN FREIGHT!
