5 trips to For Eyes and I give up! * Visit 1: Eye exam * Visit 2: 2 weeks later, go to get glasses (distance and computer) and both are very blurry. It turns out the prescription #s were written wrong for BOTH pairs. * Visit 3: 2 weeks later, go to get corrected glasses. Distance glasses a bit blurry on reading signs and not what I expected, but I cant turn them in for correction, as I need to have distance glasses. Computer glasses are worse than my old ones. I put them on the shelf and figured I would just take the loss. I later decided to get them corrected. * Visit 4: Get new eye exam because all new lenses were blurry. I couldnt give up the new distance glasses to be sent away for new lenses because I needed them, but I did give back my computer glasses. * Visit 5: Go back to get new computer glasses. When the man took them out of the drawer, he looked at the paper work and asked "reading glasses?". I replied "computer glasses". He said "okay", or some such acknowledgement. I read the hand-held chart on the desk and the letters were sharp. When I got home, I tried using them for the computer and they are too blurry. I now know why he asked "reading glasses?. Thats what they are, not computer glasses. * Visit 6: No way! I not going to waste any more time with this company.

I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day I called (on a Monday) and got my 2 pairs of glasses from For Eyes on Saturday of that same week. I am very happy with my glasses and with their service. I chose this place because the optometrist is also a former ophthalmologist so I felt confident that she would catch any additional eye problems (other than vision) that needed to be addressed. She did discuss the presence of floaters and some minor cataracts, which I had previously known about. As a former eye surgeon, she assured me that the cataracts did not yet need treatment. I just now scheduled an appointment for my husband for computer glasses and was able to get a same day (Fri.) appointment. The manager, Jim, authorized a "rush order" for the glasses so we should get the glasses early next week. My husband uses computer glasses all day in his work so really appreciated the prompt service.

The prices are good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Ive been going to them for years. However, one time, my normal eyeglasses came in and the prescription was off. More recently, I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses and they came in with the wrong tint. It was on saturday and they said they couldnt retint them until monday (today) but when I called they werent finished and they said theyd call me back when they were finished but they never did. Needless to say Im very disappointed.

After going to lots of other Optical stores I ended up at For Eyes. Sure glad I did. The selection there is as good or better than the others as well as the price. The customer service was wonderful. My glasses kept hurting and they kept trying to adjust them many times. Never treated me as a trouble. Ended up giving me a different pair. (lighter frames) and they are just fine. I have never had such pleasant experience. I am VERY happy with For Eyes. Thank you Jim, Ben, and Kelly

Great eye-glass store with unbelievable service. Their selection is pretty extensive and their pricing is competitive especially when using their specials. What really distinguishes them from the other franchise competitors is their service. Their assistants are almost always quick to service walk-ins and are very professional in fulfilling any customer needs. In particular, Ben always seems to be in the store and has been there for a very long time.
