I recently had a pair of glasses that the wire nose piece broke off of and I went to this store to buy a replacement frame because they had the same Armani Exchange frame that I was replacing. The General Manager that did the work should not be allowed to work on peoples glasses at all. After he put my existing lenses in the new frames I told him I wanted the old frames so I could possibly solder or braze the piece back on because i really liked the color of them. He broke the old frames by taking out the lenses and didnt say a word. Just hid them in a case. The lenses are not in the frame properly and i went back in to get him to adjust them but he was sitting inside of a room behind a wall. There is no Lenscrafting going on here its just an impatient general manager that has no skill whatsoever doing work he should not be doing. Ill never do business here. Ill go back to Target where I was treated like a customer not an idiot. Not only that the other employee made a snide remark about me buying just lenses not caring if it was an emergency or whatever. Terrible cusomer service or should I say abuse and neglect. Thanks for destroying my glasses. Now Im out 400 dollars.

Buyer Beware. These guys are like used car salesmen and practice down right deceptive tactics. They started out nice enough. But when my rep sold me my glasses he wrote three numbers down on a piece of paper, which were for the various lens types. So I picked the middle number which I thought was just for polycarbonate and anti-reflective glare. Little did I know it also includes a 34.99 1 yr protection plan. So when my wife goes to pick them up she asked them to take off the plan. They say they need the credit card. Fine, most establishments dont need the CC for returns but whatever. So I call them up and the rep gives me the run around and a spiel about the plan. I politely refuse and she says she has to get the manager. By this time my patience is running thin so I try to head him off when he starts another spiel about the plan. At which point he becomes very short with me and after getting my CC over the phone he abruptly terminates the call. Honestly it makes me never want to shop here again. Why are you giving me crap about something you essentially snuck on to my bill.

I had gone to this location a few times over the past few years and had a great experience. Just this last visit, I order some contacts and was told I could return them within 30 days. I went to office and spoke to the office manager about exchanging the contacts because the newest prescription wasnt working out for me. I was told there would be a 30% restocking fee. This was never communicated to me on the prior visit. The office manager continued to tell me that I was wrong and her girls would never tell me that I could return the contacts within 30 days. My husband finally asked if they would be willing to waive the restocking fee for this occasion. While I am very appreciative of the waived fee, the office manager continued again to tell me I was wrong and her employees were right. Never once did she reassure me or understand my complaint and at least understand my situation. I wont be going back, as that is not the service I wish to receive.

Avoid at all costs! This place is a total scam. Even though they are listed as a preferred provider for EyeMed they do not honor the co-pay amounts and contracted fees. The front desk girl even made the comment "Oh, we dont pay any attention to that, the Doctor can charge whatever he wants." This is nothing but a bait and switch scam. They are like used car dealers in this place. They should be reported to the Department of Health, Better Business Bureau for fraudulent and deceptive business practices. They will prey on the fact that you have taken time off of work for the appointment and think they can trap you into paying whatever they want you to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Dustin, After reading your review I have to say that I do not agree with you. First of all I do not have the words to describe the 2 wonderful blonde girls working for Dr.Meyers at the Sunset point location. Not to mention the friendly greeting from the rest of the Lenscrafters store.You probably have this place mixed up with some place else. All I can say is I have been a patient of Dr. Meyers for the better part of 4 years. I have never seen any of the nice girls eating at the front desk. I have had a great experience with this office. Keep up the great work Dr. Meyers and Girls!

We were in Florida for a family vacation. One of our family members lost his glasses in the surf. We called this store, Bill scheduled the eye exam for the first available appointment the next morning. We went, Bill promised hed have the glasses ready by 6:00 pm that same day. The lenses were single vision with a stigmatism, he got Transitions also. They came through like he said. Excellent service, personable and professional staff. Easy in every aspect. Ask for Bill. He is right on and obviously knows his business.

I have been using LensCrafters for 15 years. The doctor is great, and I have been satisfied with every pair of glasses I have purchased. Some of the staff are more experienced than others, but they all try and seem to work together to make it the best experience possible. The one time I received a pair of glasses that just didnt work, they re-examined my eyes and had a new pair of glasses made. I also get the insurance, which works, as my dog just chewed up the second pair of glasses in a year. :(

Very satisfied the first visit. As a loyal customer I went back for yearly eye check-up. I was very disappointed to find out the cost of new lens for my same frames almost doubled. Salesperson told me that if I would purchase frames then I could get 30% off. Thats bad business! I left and salesperson said manager would call me but I still have not heard from Rick the manager. Guess I will go elsewhere and tell everyone that will listen what being a loyal customer got me at Lens Crafters.

Told glasses would take three or four days. I called after six days and was told they "couldnt find my lenses at another store and would order them from somewhere." Now its been ten days and after being on hold for awhile then getting "disconnected", I called back, and after twenty minutes finally got someone to tell me they would call now to order the lenses. This place is AWFUL. To add insult to injury, I found out I could have had these glasses for less than half the price elsewhere!

Tried to get glasses for girlfriend. Doctor messed up the prescription. Kept telling the manager that it was not correct prescription. He said he could fix the glasses by remaking the lenses or adjusting the frames. Had to go in on 5 different weekends. We finally gave up and asked for refund. Now she wont go in and get a new prescription because she doesnt want to deal with jerks that refuse to listen to her and is still using very outdated prescription. BAD STAFF.
