Wont go back. The only positive thing about my FIRST and LAST visit to Eyeglass World was the fact they had the exact frames I wanted. No one else did. I chose this location as I signed up for EyeMed insurance and this location accepted it (not all locations accept it). I asked both ladies from Gulf Coast Optometry who did the eye exams if the glasses would be done today. Both said about 98% of the time they are. The commercials give you that impression also. With my prescription they both said they would be done that day. Everything changed once Rosalie took over. She explained the glasses would be ready in 7-10 days. That contradicted what the Gulf Coast Optometry ladies told me. Once we settled on the type of lenses, the final price was revealed to me. Rosalie added $83 of lens options that we never discussed and I would have declined. I told her to remove those options. Her response was "you will be coming back to have them put on everyone does". I thought that was very unprofessional and not the way to make a customer happy. I was also shocked that she would question my decision when she added this $83 WITHOUT my permission on an assumption by her. That response from her in that tone sealed it for me never returning to Eyeglass World. I signed for the revised price. After I got home I was livid. I noticed in the paperwork that I signed for a 1 year warranty. I dont remember seeing that charge before we discussed the lens option adjustment or I would have questioned that too. I dont believe it was there as I am very detail oriented but I cant prove it. I probably was focusing on the lens option disaster and making sure that was removed from the invoice. Ultimately I signed for it so I ate that $25. I wonder if Americas Best is this bad since they are owned by the same company, National Vision. I am not willing to risk it any more issues. As for EyeMed, I am cancelling that insurance as they did not pay for the exam yet it was supposed to be covered. I got that bill later. Eyeglass World confirmed that EyeMed should have covered it and I cant blame Eyeglass World for that. Overall, it was just the worst eyeglass experience I ever had. I have used Lenscrafters for 20 years and ALWAYS got my glasses the same day. I picked them up when they estimated they would be done. Usually about 2 hours later. Salute whoever you want Eyeglass World in your commercials but it wont be me and I cant salute you after this first impression.

When I bought my glasses I was told because I bought the plan for insurance on them when I get a scratch on your lenses that you just call up and tell them you need to order lenses. When lenses come in they call you you leave your glasses there and they get done within the hour. Now I do live about 40 minutes away when I called them and told them I need a new lenses she wanted me to drive there so they can look at them then order the lenses and then theyll call me and then I have to drive back there again. thats not what the contract stated her name was Amy she wasnt the most pleasant person to deal with. She told me shell do it this time as a courtesy . I told her no I bought 3 pairs of glasses they are you do it like that every time because thats where I was told when I purchased the glasses .unfortunate that I do have insurance on three pairs of glasses that I purchased there. I will be calling corporate on this problem

Absolutely the worst place you can go for glasses! They use false advertising on prices; their service is substandard; and they do not stand by their products. Oh, I almost forgot their rude staff! Of course that is just my opinion, but being screwed out of $700 and ending up with two pairs of glasses that I cannot wear will tend to lead to bad feelings about eye glass world!!! So, your choice -Stay away! Or run the risk of being screwed too!!!! You have been warned!

The people there were nice, but the glasses i picked out were not the ones I received. They gave the glasses i picked out, which were the last pair, to another customer and gave me a different colored pair claiming that they didnt have any of the color I chose. They lied to my face and since I had paid, forced me to pick a pair of glasses that I didnt want. I wont be going here ever again.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone we encountered was so sweet. The doctor was wonderful, and was visiting from another location. Everyone was very patient with us as we had a wiggly baby with us. Shout out to Rosalie who made our day so much brighter!! Great prices, and great customer service.

Worst place to get glasses, they said there were going to ship my glasses but never did. waiting two weeks then when i called the lady said they were sitting on her desk. and still three days later called again to ship and they were still sitting on her desk. Dont buy glasses from them you will never see them.

The best experience I have ever had!!! Stephanie and Rosalie were great with helping me pick out my sunglasses and I absolutely love them! I will recommend this store to all my friends and family and I will definitely be coming back for more

Had an appointment at 3 and didnt even get seen until almost 4. There were only 2 other customers in the store. Make sure you have plenty of free time if you make an appointment here.
