I have always been a HD shopper; from the windows we installed at my moms, to my tile, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, all appliances, patio tile, screen enclosure, and now the bathroom and laundry remodel supplies. You get the picture, everything is from Home Depot... I am going through a whole house re-pipe and given the walls were being demolished, we decided to do a full bathroom remodel. (Note: due to the re-pipe I have holes in all the walls) I picked up a bathtub at the Oviedo HD and after the plumber brought it upstairs, we noticed the bottom was very harsh. I know all bathtubs have an anti-slip area but this was far beyond anti slip; it actually was painful to sit on it. In addition, it has a chip on the porcelain and multiple deep scratches. I called HD and after much back and forth they offered to pick up the tub the day after I called. Not having much space to place it, I had to sleep on the couch as the bathtub was placed on the bedroom floor. I tried to find a tub last night and they had no good quality porcelain tubs in stock. Ordering one would take 7-21 days and that would mean I would not get to shower for 3 weeks unless I stayed at a hotel. I finally found a plumbing supply store 1 hr from my house that had a bathtub and I ordered it and had it delivered. My plumber charges $350 to install a tub (it is upstairs in a small space). So I am out $350 for a tub that I had to return, $60 delivery fee for the new tub pick up and drop off, and another $300 (plumber gave me a discount) to install the other tub. This means I spent $360 more than I should have only because I decided to but my tub from Home Depot given that they do not have a good supply of tubs that are either not chipped, defective, or dented or have the correct shade. I am disappointed in how HD is dealing with this. Besides not listening to me (I explained I had to buy a tub elsewhere after searching all over town and I already was having it installed and just then she offered to bring me a tub from another HD...), they just said they "are sorry I have to incur extra expenses". I am not a difficult or ungrateful customer and I always try to give positive reviews but I am very unhappy and disappointed. I am cancelling the delivery of my dryer and will be returning all the tile I purchased, the tub parts, paint, etc and will buy elsewhere. HD needs to accept responsibility when they sell sub-par items.

Just stood in line for plywood today for 7 hours after I called (as well as hundreds of others in line) ahead of time to only discover that there was no plywood coming after all. Someone answered the phones and told us that there was a truck of plywood coming which was an absolute lie. Even another store Rep said we would get tickets so that tomorrow we could get our plywood since we waited so long. After all that waiting, Kelly the store manager, said to come back at 6am tomorrow due to another supposed delivery they are suppose to get. She also says no tickets would be given contracting what that other employee said. The whole crowd in line became irritated and complained to Kelly, but she decides to call the police for fear of how angry we were. Then some male nut stands on the counter and yells "Im with the marines and management said there will be no rain checks". Like who cares! Everyone was upset and Kelly says there will be a truck coming tomorrow, and so I ask her in front of the police are you sure and Kelly says "maybe" the truck is coming. This woman is so confused and irresponsible for having so many people waiting in line and not taking into consideration their time, gas, or efforts. What horrible customer service!!!!! In matter of fact, Im going to cancel my acccount with Home Depot because this is how much I hate this store now. So sad for all those women with kids and elderly people who were waiting way more hours than us. What a shame!

Overall experience is mediocre at best lately. When I first moved to oviedo I thought this location was great. However... ANY time I have to deal with the young ladies at the customer service/return desk I feel like theyre brother d by my presence. Especially this time. everyone has bad days. And I wouldnt normally leave a review off of a bad experience if my overall previous experiences were good. This is the straw though. From the second I walked all the customer service girls were apathetic and seemed to just scoff at my arrival. I smiled as much as I could..tried to be as nice as possible. Nothing I could do got her to even look me in the eye! Later in the week I had to exchange a propane tank. As soon as I walked in all of the return girls pretty much said in unison "you cant bring that in here" understandable given certain fire codes or building codes.. but they didnt tell me where to go.. just pointed outside. I found some luck though and one of the guys grabbing shopping carts told me step by step what I needed to do. The checkout girl was lovely! You need to have the check out girls train the return girls! Massive difference! I wish I could rate employees.. but sadly home depot you get a 2/5.. and I will most likely be taking my business to Lowes from here on forward.

I have never seen a Home Depot with such a large selection of plants both subtropical and tropical... including plants that are much harder to find in Central Florida. Im sure that its partly do to with the competition of a very large garden center nearby; but the differences are that Home Depot has the better pricing, and they have a one-year guarantee on all their plants. Two things that are very different between that garden center and this Home Depot. Ive never shopped much in the rest of the store; but I can say that from what I have seen, its a very well put-together store, very clean and organized. Even the restrooms in this Home Depot are worth mentioning... not only are they always clean, theyre beautifully-designed too!

store is ok but customer service and returns are a nightmare. waited 7 minutes times while 3 employees were all trying to help 1 online customer order. one employee even came over to the return register turned his back on all return waiting customers (7 of us) and had a conversation with the other 3 and 1 customer. How rude. Not once did anyone ever say someone will be right over to help. This is not the first time just an event happened but one of many. Just had enough and frustrated with the return and customer service staff associates.

Everytime I go to this Home Depot its a complete and utter waste of my time. I have been in there several times and everytime I go into this Home Depot. Im impressed with the amount of employees that they have that are NOT willing to work at all. If youre actually looking for a task to be performed such as carpet cut, blinds cut, lumber, paint mixed, or just simply someones so-called professional opinion. Dont even bother going to this Home Depot. Theres a Lowes just up the road I strongly suggest you go there.
