I wont ever be back to give this place my business. Preface: Orijen discontinued selling 15 lb bags of cat food that used to retail for $72. They now make 12lb bags which run about $15 cheaper. I went to magic pet Baldwin park because I like to support local business owners. I quickly grabbed my 12lb bag of cat food, and I was greeted by a new face (the owners son maybe?). Anyway, I noticed the man rang up my item as a 15lb bag of cat food with the same hefty pricetag by mistake. When questioned about the simple mistake (no biggie), the dude stuck to his guns instead of taking another look. Seriously? Why couldnt he just stop being a bro for one second and make the correction? He literally tried to argue with me about it. Sigh, if I wasnt in such a need for the cat food at the time, I would have just walked out.

Weve been shopping at Magic Pet in Baldwin Park for years!! I always prefer to support a family owned business when I can. I went in initially because my miniature dachshund wasnt enjoying the food we had purchased a big box pet store. The owner Samir asked a few questions and led us to a food that has a nice ingredient list. My doxie has been gobbling up this same food for a few years now! I also love that I can stop at the Oviedo store if Im passing through. Highly recommend!

Great little shop. The owner is knowledgeable and helped me find a food to help my dogs allergies, which was NOT the most expensive he could sell me for what my dog needed. Even suggested a small bag to try first in case it didnt work, and corrected the price down when he realized it was mislabeled. Seems like the owner is doing what he loves and running an honest business. Happy to go out of my way to buy here.

Bought my dog a delicious cookie here (He enjoyed it, so I am assuming it is delicious. I myself did not try the cookie). My puppy was so excited he wet the floor, and the owner was really nice about it.
