If someone told me that I could only have one kind of bread for the rest of my life, and it would be the "onion pockets" from Fresh Market, Id roll on the ground crying in ecstasy. The onion pockets (think "soft, chewy, moist, dessert-like hamburger buns with bits of diced onion) are the reason I go out of my way to the Fresh Market. I really think we could use one closer to West Miramar. In time, in time. The produce department is absolutely wonderful as are the prepared foods. The baked goods are unique without being obnoxious and the cheese selection is, while not very extensive, diverse and run by informed staff members. Im always shocked, in a good way, at the low prices of their outstanding meats. For great bang for your buck, this is the place to go for pork products, especially the sausages and the ground pork (at 2.99 pound, and ground in-house, a steal!). Be sure to check their website, or stop in and grab a flyer, to stay informed of sales and weekly specials. All of this, combined with an easy to navigate shopping center, and the free samples of coffee (and occasionally wine), make The Fresh Market one of the best places to shop for your culinary needs. And by culinary needs, I mean those onion pockets.

Im a regular customer of the Fresh Market, every second day I stop by to get fresh veggies, fish or meat and specialty products like pasta, jams, etc I love the Fresh market, best thing that happen in South beach. One day looking for some sea weeds salad, I noticed that the sushi guys were opening the boxes, pulling the slice of fish from the rice ball and putting on new rice. I decide to never get sushi at the Frech market ever again. Monday night One of my friends got some sushi rolls from the Fresh Market for our weekly dinner. 3 out of the five people go food poisoning including me, so bad that i had to stay 2 days in bed, and one of my friend a photographer still in bed sick lost an important contract . I call the Fresh Market and they said we are sorry!!!!!!!!!!

ReportScam Miami

I realized Miami is full of scam, but experiencing scam in the grocery store that was a surprise to me. I asked for a stew meat $5.99 per pound and guy behind the counter reach out and put some meat on the scale. When he was giving me the package back, I saw his eyes were not at ease but I thought nothing more of it. Coming home, I noticed that my meat package reads "PORTERHOUSE STEAK PREMIUM" $12.99 per pound, net weight 0.875 in total $11.37. I realized why the guy behind the counter was not at ease, he cheated me. Not a lot of money, I understand, however, it is a principle. WATCH when you shop there, the employee will cheat you if they can.

People in the meat department are lazy and give plain standard sub par service. I feel they act like they dont see you. One of the older guys has mega attitude but the other is ok. The meat (beef) does not last long. Needs to be eaten the same day or else. Bought some chocolate cake that expires the very next day. Also bought some garlic bread in the bag , which I lo e but recently it looks like the garlic mix was slapped on and missed a few breads. Looked like blob on bread. Today I went to buy chicken and got the same attitude so I just walked out and went straight to google to rate. I finally had it.

I am a daily Fresh Market shopper, bulk items, including freshly ground almond butter, being my main purchases. I love the assortments and particularly love the service offered by Angie, the person in charge of ordering and stocking the wide variety of candy, chocolates, and nuts. Angie is available, courteous, and always accommodating with a smile and quick action. It was brought to my attention that due to new management there may be some downsizing of the service staff. Please make sure that Angie is retained. She is a valuable asset to The Fresh Market.

Love it, Smaller than most grocery strores but has what most grocery stores do not have. Fresh cooked food is always good, meats are cut to your specs and grass fed all natural, always free amazing coffee next to the nuts and candy isle...personal favorite. Plus fresh baked breads of every type you can thing of all day long. Mainly specilize in hard to get items and small brands that are made by small business operations not the big plants. If you havent tried Fresh Market, give it one chance and you will see the difference.

I like the store but I bought a Marshmallow lime pie or Lemon that looks wonderful but was not a good experience because the creme of the lime in the middle was like a jelly very soft melting and the dough was white and not crunchy so half some tried and left half on the plate and other half we need to trough away nobody wants to bring home. So was cheap $ 6.99 but I rather buy a nice lime pie for $ 15.00 and everyone eats all and are happy it. Who eat a good lime pie will know what means!

Bootlegged whole foods. The fresh GMO market. Most of the foods has mono & dyglecerides, food color dyes, chemically toxic additives & chemically toxic preservatives, animal shortening, genetically modified, castoreum in artificial vanilla and artificial fruit flavor products, overpriced GMO you could find in Krogers, Publix, Frys, Rouses or Albertsons cheaper. A bootlegged rip-off of whole foods.

Absolutely the best grocery store on South Beach. Its such a pleasant experience shopping here. There are never too many people, they give out free coffee and lots of free samples, the food is better than Whole Foods, and they are always playing soothing classical music. I used to shop next door at the Publix, but not anymore. Fresh Market is just plain awesome.

I have repeatedly gone to FRESH MARKET and my experience is always the same at the DELI counter THEY ACT LIKE THEY RE DOING U A FAVOR yesterday the person threw something down on a table and looked anoyed ... THEY NEVER LOOK UP YOU HAVE TO ASKED TO BE WAITED ON THEIR FRUIT IS MAINLY OVER RIPE I am going to stay at PUBLICS NICER FASTER FRESHER

Waste of money and confusing concept. At first look you would think you were in a Wholefoods or fancy Trader Joes, with mostly organic and healthier food than your local conventional grocery. But no. Mostly the same non organic, modified, farmed, or artifical foods found at any crappy grocery store. Only difference is its way more expensive

The best food market on South Beach by far. They have a much better selection of fish than anywhere else and the ready-to-eat area has a fantastic array of options. Food prices are probably on par with Whole Foods, but definitely more expensive than Publix, but you get what you pay for.
