Avoid this place if you care about efficient service and and customer appreciation. The older blonde lady who I believe owns the place, is a complete moody b**** EVERY SINGLE TIME you see her there (which is every day), and it shows with the way she talks to and treats customers. Her husband, the older gentleman, is either taking orders at the counter, or working the register, and either way, talks to customers about personal stuff/experiences, or things that have nothing to do with their job, for FAR too long, as they have a line out the door, making everyone wait that much longer to either place their order, or pay for their food that is ready and sitting over there on the counter getting cold, as hes still talking to pervious customers who are good to go. My personal experience I just had this morning is just that, plus handing off our order to his moody wife to ring us up (as she seems lost and irritated), after waiting at the register for 5 minutes, with our food getting cold, as hes talking to the previous customer on our side of the counter, about sports, and sharing stuff on his phone. Professional. In my previous experiences, the owner lady has gotten my order 100% wrong, and nothing about the whole experience was good. When I brought it to their attention the next time (not expecting anything free, just wanting my order correct), after placing it with the same lady, then mentioning it all again because it was horrible the previous time, she got a REALLY irritated look on her face and just turned around and walked away without saying a word to me, and after I got home with my scrambled egg, bacon and cheese on an everything croissant sandwich, it was STILL wrong, not scrambled and on a plain croissant. To get such a basic order wrong two times in a row, and having to deal with such rude and non compliant ownership running the business at the face of it, is completely ridiculous. Needless to say, I will not being going back to this place as Id rather drive way across town and go to Brooklyn Water Bagle Company where they always have good food and customer service, and above all, get my order right every time.

Worst place in the world, worst people in the world. Seriously don’t know how they are still in business. Everyday you walk in and the lady who is the owner has a scowl on her face, gets agitated when you try to ask her any question about the menu or if you order anything that requires her to cut meat or heat it up on the grill. Everyday it is something different with this lady, wrong orders etc. Today was the final straw, went in at 1pm they didn’t close until 3pm, but they had already cleaned the grill so they weren’t making any more hot sandwiches. They were also out of all but everything, plain and whole wheat bagels. So for the last two hours of business all you could get is a bagel with cream cheese. Also nothing is homemade there, not the bread, not the deserts, not the croissants, so I don’t know what these people are talking about. The only think they make there is bagels, which aren’t very good and all always out of stock. Everyone needs to boycott this entire business and family so that they close down and go back to the north where these attitudes and poor customer service are acceptable. I don’t even want to know what happens when their kids take over...HORRIBLE PEOPLE INSIDE AND OUT.

Expensive drinks they charged me $2.50 for Arizona, which anywhere else would only charge $.99. The bagels are small and even when toasted dont give you crunch. I went there around 2pm, they close around 3:30pm, and everything and I mean everything was sold out. All they had left was white toast or we toast. When I asked for a burger she said that would take too long. So I ended up with a small BLT. It tasted okay but its something I could have made at home.

40 mins plus for 2 slices of pizza for a 6 year old that were given away to other people. When I was told of the mistake I was told they were coming out and it was a communication issues of the staff. Watched and heard people served. Then when I asked for the slices the 3rd time I was told no others had came out even though I had witnessed it. As if Im deaf and blind. No compensation was offered or given even though I asked. Will never go back.

Friendliest and best bagel shop in Florida. The bagels are freshly made every day by the owner Eric who is originally from NY/NJ. My favorite is the egg, bacon and cheese bagel which is oozing with lots of delicious calories. If you prefer to have lunch, their tuna and chicken salad sandwiches are great also. Try Maplewood Bagel Shop, you will just love the food.

After work this morning, I figured I would get some breakfast. With little hesitation I went to Maplewood Bagel. The owner is friendly, and always makes sure his costumers are satisfied. Eric goes the extra mile, and truly cares about everyone. I recommend the bacon/egg/cheese on a plain bagel. This simple delight takes me back to childhood on Long Island, NY.

In a world of debit & credit cards, this place only takes cash or credit. I found this out after our entire order was placed. A huge inconvenience. The owner of the place walks around with a sour look on her face. Very unpleasant experience over all. Wont be going back anytime soon.

I come here for the awesome breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Their bagels are okay (the owner insists theyre the best around) The people that work there are nice too. This is a good place to stop for a fast breakfast to go. They get very busy sometimes but the wait is never too long.

its difficult to imagine a day without a bagel from this fine establishment. Eric and Gus are always in a good mood and respect their customers. They only accept cash, which is a bit of a letdown, but the bagel sandwitches are worth a weekly trip to the ATM...

Eric and the staff are the best. They must love their work as they are always pleasant and smiling. All the food is fresh and prepared well. Love the Tuna and Bacon, Egg and cheese sandwiches. Spreads and Bagels are the greatest (cinnamon /raisin is my fav).

Idk what some of these reviews are talking about, the owner is always there in the mornings and is super nice. The food is made fresh everyday and is OUTSTANDING. Best bagel around. Keep up the good work Eric. And PS, they now take cash, credit and debit.

Incredible bagels and coffee, great selection and grill sandwiches and they dont skimp on the cream cheese like so many other bagel shops do! Eric and his staff are friendly and we love that this is a family business. We cant wait for our next visit!!

When we went we were slow to be waited on. The students working there were talking to each other when finally another girl who came from the back already if we had ordered already. Also the toasted bagel was only toasted on one side

Although the staff was not friendly, they were courteous and prompt. The bagel was excellent. I did find it odd that although WiFi was coming up the staff said management did not want to give out the password.
