The name is an oxymoron because there is more rotten produce and seafood than fresh. There is nothing fresh about this Fresh Market. I have lived half a mile (walking distance) from this place for two years and I now avoid it at all costs. In that time I have been sickened twice by bad seafood (...fool me twice, shame on me); once by a salmon concoction from their seafood bar and once by a tuna filet that was on sale. I consistently bring home oranges, lemons, and limes that are dry inside and apples that are brown inside. Any produce they sell becomes completely rotten within 2-3 days. I dont know if other Fresh Markets are the same and the suits at the corporate office are to blame or this is a local management issue but somethings got to change. I guess when youre the closest store to a rich neighborhood (Williams Island) you can get away with anything. Beware of the foreign and/or aloof rich customers digging into the jars of bulk food with their filthy bare hands for a snack while shopping like neanderthals. P.S.A. Please use the scooper to scoop an item then drop it into your hand.

I love this place! The selection of foods is great and the atmosphere is much warmer and friendlier than the major supermarket chains. My wife and I tend to go the deli to pick up a quick dinner when were not up for cooking. They have all kinds of fish, meat, and cheeses to choose from. For dessert, and when the kids come over to visit, we indulge in their so called "Kitchen Sink" and Oatmeal Raisin cookies. Give them a try! Overall, its my favorite local market.

A nice and healthy supermarket a la whole foods. everything was clean and fresh. They have food made daily upfront at the buffet area. Good selection of products. friendly helpful staff. not a bargain shopping place. healthy stuff where you pay what you get for. Not a lot of big brands as its all health food or low sodium lower calorie versions of most things.

This is a largish luxury food supermarket with a good selection of fresh produce and ample specialty items including a variety of nuts, dried fruits, and vegetable chips that I normally have to order online. They have a nice selection of coffees and chocolates and such gift items. The checkout line moves along smoothly and I enjoy shopping there.

Nice presentation of foods and nice ambiance. Doesnt carry some popular things (e.g. - oat bran). Service is sluggish and waiting to check out is like being back in the Howard Johnsons days (can grow cobwebs waiting to pay). Cashiers also not friendly at all. In all, poor management. Could be so much nicer

One of my favorite places, if you never taste the Tiramisu cake is time for you to try it! Prices are good. Plus you always can step to drink a little bit of coffee. Customer services is very good. The flower department can be better, but not complain, the guy in charge is always willing to help.

AWFUL this place did absolutely everything possible to ruin valentines day for my mom who is on her death bed... the flower people were AWFUL and the manager is a CLOWN... biggest mistake I made all year was stopping by this place for the first time.

The new section for organics is really nice and less expensive than Whole Foods market. The breads and the sweet breads are so delicious and cheap.They need to improve the cheese section. I like that they are sending the receipts to your email

Recently almost every fresh product Ive bought . Watermelon, broccoli , corn etc has gone very very bad within 2-5 days . I dont understand what is going on with this store? They have replaced the products I returned but why is it happening ?

Great prepared foods, excellent wine selection, classical music- all the trappings of an upscale market, with reasonable produce prices to boot! Here is a little secret: they provide complimentary cups of coffee in their Coffee section.

The people here are great so they win with customer service. Not a huge store but but sufficient. Its a bit expensive compared to the publix which is a 5 min walk away and they close a bit early for my taste.

Sat line at the meat counter for over 20 min with no help! I could understand if the store was busy but not the case. I guess fresh market didnt want my $200 for the steak I waited in line for!

Not a whole lot of selection when it comes to organic fruits and vegetables, but there alot of interesting items and the staff is definitely helpful.. Great fresh mozzarella!

This is my favorite grocery shopping store. The lights are soft, there is pleasant music playing, and complimentary coffee. It doesnt get better than that!

Convenient. Varieties of healthy eating options, but when busy, its only 2 lines and the cashiers are super slow. Its not their faults but it is what it is.
