Im not an alcohol drinker but my wife is. I usually accompany her to this store because we are coming home from dinner and she wants something to drink when we get home. Ive never had problems with the I.D. issue Ive seen on here and we bring our kids with us. The store has never had a problem with that either. The reason I gave 2 stars were for a few reasons. 1) We went there Friday night to grab a specific bottle of wine and my wife was having a hard time locating it. I walked a few aisles over, no biggie, to grab a gentleman with a Total Wine shirt on. I managed to gain his attention, but it seemed he would rather go polish bottles than to help. He followed me halfway as I was trying explain to him the wine we were looking for and he said its over there and was ready to return to what he was doing prior to me asking for assistance. But I told him I dont know exactly what its called and my wife will have to explain to him. He didnt even move from where he stopped and my wife had to ask him from the other end of the aisle. That was not very good customer service. Kind of rude in a way. 2) When we decided to head to the register to purchase our selections, my wife and I were discussing why red wine are not chilled and white wine was. We didnt have a clear answer to our debate so I told my wife we shall ask the cashier when we pull into her line. The answer to my question we received, and I am not exaggerating, was: Q) Why is white wine chilled and not red wine? A) Because white wine is chilled and red wine isnt. Im thinking to myself, "This is Total Wine & More. Where they have wine people who know wine. Who have tasted wine from all over the world. Their radio commercials say they employ only the best in the wine industry and I received that answer." I was in shock. I had to ask the question twice. And the second answer I received was not nearly as helpful. A) Because of taste. Wow. So, we had to Google the answer. We shouldnt have had to. We were in a WINE STORE! Anyways, thats why they received 2 stars. Ill only shop there because they carry the wines my wife is looking for. But if the rude and incompetent service continues, I will contact corporate and explain in great detail their store on 136th St does not live up to the standards they say they have.

I called to ask about a specific brand of rare bourbon called pappy van winkle. I was transferred to the store manager Mike and he was extremely rude on the phone. I had called 5 other total wine stores within south Florida before this store and each person was very nice and easy to talk to, each other person also offered their name allowing me to call back and talk with them. Mike the store manager on the other hand was extremely rude and arrogant in his tone and voice. I asked for his name and if when I call back if I can ask to speak with him and He told me "you can call back each time and Im gonna tell you the same answer every time because the managers dont know when we get it in." If you can avoid this location, they do not deserve your sales and give the company a bad name.

Horrendous staff and worse service. Cashier was rude and disrespectful to my wife and I. We were purchasing NON ALCOHOLIC margarita mix and were not able to because although she had her ID, I didnt have mine. (Word to the wise, we are well over 21, our kids are old enough to shop here.) Totally understand their policy, but the cashier and management were extremely rude when explaining this policy, not to mention this policy is not listed ANYWHERE in their store or online. I honestly felt offended and discriminated against. Considering calling corporate to let them know. Management- if you are reading this please do better. Will definitely not be returning, took my business elsewhere.

Staff has very poor attitude, accused me of having a fake Florida ID because the picture wasnt me(my picture from 6 years before). Manager is quite rude and lied to my face on multiple occasions when asked questions of more limited released items. Its unfortunate that I live 5 min away in Pinecrest and yet I shop at about every other store in town but here. Every other total wine I have visited across the country (more than 25 easily) have had pleasant and helpful staff. Clear indication of poor management. Do not recommend visiting this location.

DONT COME TO THIS STORE The WORST STORE EVER the chashier named NINA is rude, disrespectful and has NO manners. She even asked me if I was on edge because i was marrying the wrong person and NO i was on edge because of HER! I was buying the liquor for my wedding (almost 10 boxes) and they promised to give me a 10% discount when i was selecting the liquor and on the phone, but they didnt honor that. Also, the store manager was rude and she didnt care. This store doesnt even deserve ONE star they deserve ZERO stars.

It is a great place for shopping but you cannot go w any family members or friends that are minors, they wont let you pay for your purchase. I am way passed 21 years of age, but just because my 19 year old cousin was with me they didnt let me buy my selections. They only informed me of that after i spent almost 2 hours going around the store and already at the register to pay. There are no signs making clients aware of this rule prior to wasting your time shopping around.

I dont know what I would do without Total Wine. I feel like I am in heaven when I walk into this store. They have a variety of drinks. My new favorite is the Skinny Girl Cosmo. They have Schenbly wine for a lot cheaper than at the actual winery. The huge selection of wine allows you to explore different flavors & brands until you find the best one for you. I pass by here at least once a month to try a new wine. Great place!

The store is awesome great selection of stuff. The service was horrible!! The cashier seemed not so smart, but thrn again shes not supposed to be a scientist. And 20 guys walking around with their shirts tucked in with ties. But cant seem to ask if we needed any help. If you want the selection and no one around to help this is definitely your place. I will not be coming back here again.

The place is very nice an organized a fair warning if your two people walking in then both parties need to have their IDs. If not you will not be able to purchase the drink. I.e. This did happened to me and my husband on thanksgiving I left my id, at the house but since I was accompanying him which he did have his id, he still couldnt purchase

They have aisles devoted to regions in countries for wine, as well as a diverse selection of beer and liquor. Free inch-thick catalog with detailed descriptions, great service and reasonable prices. If you are in the area, you must see for yourself!!!

Dont try calling and asking about the Westvleteren beer...theyll just hang up on you...poor service in that store! How do they know I wasnt going to ask about another product. Just for that, I wouldnt go...plenty of other liquor stores..
