$1100.00 repair bill after signing papers. Odometer and speedometer do not work and they wrote down kilometers as miles on odometer disclosure statement. So the paperwork is wrong as well. Luckily the 2009 Aprilia Scarabeo 500ie has a computer that keeps track of miles unlike most scooters. I purchased it at closing time by the time I made it 4 blocks I returned to store but they were gone. It could have 6,000 miles or 20,000 miles.....who knows but sounds to me like fraud at point of sale. Thankfully we have a State Attorney General, Department of Motor vehicle and Highway Safety, and Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to investigate this dealership and my bike can be used as evidence against them. Buyer Beware!!!!! Like the other person said I think you have better luck on Craigslist than this place. They refused to refund me all my money and refused to have an authorized Aprilia tech fix the bike so I would know what the actual milage is on it which is the only way I think they can legally turn into the state the odometer statement...lol...cant wait to see this reply from owner! Zero Star Rating Here If you have had or have issues like this from here contact the above agencies and report it. I will let the state decide this dealers fate.

I dont they what changed from the reviews I read but beware these guys are totally false they showed me a scooter telling me it was at 2016 and thats why the price was great but the fact was it was a reject or second from the factory and was very messily put together. then I found out they dont even know the difference between kilometers and miles per hour since they told me to bring the bike in at 300 to 500 miles when its basically I should have brought it in for the first oil change in less than 200. I read the manual and they didnt even know that they were supposed to change the gear oil as well as the oil, which I did change someplace else and found it dirty and would have ruined my scooter if I didnt. the sales people know nothing about the bike except the price they told me I would get a 135 miles per gallon, Im lucky if I get 80 or 90 I checked online and every other place they told me the truth. I brought it into for repairs to fix six or seven minor things and it did nothing they only change the engine oil didnt even adjust the idel. Be careful.

I have never had such a great experience with a scooter dealership before. I worked with Michelle, Mark, and Mike and they did everything he could to get me a good deal on my first Keeway 125 over 5 years ago. I have been back since than I just payed off my thrid scooter and bought my car from them. I heard several time how much they appreciated me. They have quality scooters, motorcycles and cars and awesome customer service. I didnt feel pressured or pushed into anything that I wasnt wanting (like most vehicle salesmen do). I would recommend anyone to go Tropical Scooter for their next Scooter, Motorcycle or Car. I left incredibly happy and excited. Thank Mark and Michele for making dreams come true. I have recently bought another scooter from Tropical and loving it.

Ive bought two scooters from Tropical Scooters LLC and both of them have been great machines. The first one was an Adly 150cc and ran perfectly with minimal maintenance such as changing the oil which they are happy to do for a small fee of 27$ and some change. I was thoroughly upset when I totalled my Adly, but after I went in to see what they could do for me my mind was at ease. They helped me get into another scooter (a TGB) with a minimal down payment and and the rest is history. Cant say enough about the people at Tropical Scooters. Remember that when riding a scooter all you have to do is keep up on the maintenance. An oil change every thousand miles will keep your scooter running like new.

i dont know what you two are talking about. this place is awsome i will not let anyone elts touch my scoot ive had it for three years and every problem i have ever had they have taken there time and fix it perfectly. they done every thing to my scoot from upgrade kit to light bulbs. like i said i would not have anyone elts touch my scoot i go there for every thing oil spark plugs u name it i get it with no problems. there down to earth and happy going people yeah if they couldnt pick you scoot up that day it because there busy as hell im always in there and they treat everyone great. but yeah wait you cant make every one happy to bad for you guys.

Do not go to these scam artists!!!! I bought a part that was promised to be the right one for my scooter. I soon found out after I installed it that it was completely the wrong one. When I brought it back to them the owner who is extremely rude and a "wanna be" biker said that it was my fault they sold me the wrong part and tough luck. So dont be scammed by these con artists if you want a scooter or need help with something go to MOJOs scooter shop on the corner of east bay and Missouri ave he is an Awsome laid back guy who treats everyone with respect!!! I just dont want anyone else to get conned out of 130 dollars like I did!!!!!!!

I have purchased 2 scooters from this place. The first was a 2011 Kymco that the top end went out after only 3k miles. The second was a 2009 Keeway. Only 2 days after owning it I discovered water in the gas tank. Needless to say, this required over $100 worth of repairs. They did not disclose anything wrong with the scooter. When I brought this to their attention, they did not even respond. I will never do business with them again and you shouldnt either. No advantage to buying from a dealer here. Might as well take your chances from craigslist private party. I think the other reviews are fake and done by them.

Drove my buddies truck here to pick up a scooter. I guess the truck has a gas leak.. The owner came out.. Cussed me out.. While my friend is inside dropping 2500 on a scooter... There are far better ways of handling things.. My friend my of gave his money.. But i will never spend a dime at this place.. After reviewing some of the other comments i see clearly the owner like to cuss and yell... Btw up to the point the owner cussed me out.. My friend was dealinv with his son... He seemed like good people... That being said.. YOUR DAD IS A DICK DUDE... TELL HIM TO RETIRE AND LET YOU RUN THE SHOW
